Science 1: Do [Beacons] make [Discoveries] persistent? Roughly a week ago from today, I discovered a crashed ship that struck my interest. Currently, after many forms of transportations, several black holes, and a patch update later -- I have come back to this crash site and the ship IS still here!

If you ever find a good crashed ship that you cannot afford to take now, a beacon ensures you can pick it up later :)

What this also ensures is that any ship you run by that is unmanned and can be interfaced, is persistent. I'll grab this ship and leave my old one there, which I can only assume will persist.

So you CAN get double blasted! Looks like it is bugged though, and probably because this is a fringe occurence. The moon is always dark because it's blocked by the planet, so nights are extreme cold. Then I got pelted in the face by a heat storm D:
