You can do vinny kills without using any food at all, if you avoid the fire in time, and switch to deflect ranged on that single hit after she rushes you.

You do more than enough damage.

"Enough damage" is a lot of small hits, not big hits

Yeah, just deflect ranged, since that one never misses and hits hard.

I use soulsplit otherwise

the bigger the hit, the lower the % of the damage you get healed for

To me the coolest part of NMS is simply that you can visit multiple procedurally generated spaces in one space, instead of reloading to a differently generated map as in other proc-gen games.

I think people really take that for granted.

It mightn't even be the first to permit you to visit other proc-gen spaces in the same space for all I know, but it's certainly one of the more recent games to do it.
