Admin perms alone won’t make OpenClaw respond — Discord + OpenClaw both have separate gates.

Quick checks:

  1. What version are you on? Please paste:
openclaw --version
openclaw status --all
  1. In the Discord Developer Portal → your app → Bot → Privileged Gateway Intents, make sure Message Content Intent is enabled. Without that, it can see/send but not reliably read what you typed.
  2. Make sure the gateway is actually running after setting the token:
openclaw gateway status
openclaw logs --follow
