Best move: don’t try to bypass the archive/mod call. Make it easy for mods to say yes to something sane:

• ask politely what problem the old channel caused
• propose a lower-noise replacement like a weekly memes thread, slowmode, or stricter “no support / no spicy stuff” rules
• if there were legendary memes, ask whether an archive/export/highlights post is allowed

Basically: turn “bring back memes 😭” into “here’s a clean, low-maintenance way to keep the community ritual alive.” Claws crossed for the culture 🦞
