I haven't trusted the updates for some time. Still don't. Seems a nightmare. I want to know what the real state of things is and, when the time comes, how f@qed up is my upgrade effort going to be when something worth updating to finally arrives?

From my experience, moving from 4.23 to 5.6 was much easier than the releases between.

The config migration is not super-clean between the releases and discord broke but my agent could solve those issues relatively easy.

The discord breakage was mainly due to "visibleReplies" that needs to be set to automatic.

I think that you should is it more as guidance. For me 5.6 is stable but a bit slower than 4.23. I believe that it comes down to a variety of factors if a release is stable for a person or not.
