Yes — this looks like a 2026.4.24 regression where claude-cli was treated like an embedded agent harness instead of a CLI backend.

Best workaround: update to 2026.4.25:

openclaw --version
openclaw update --tag 2026.4.25
openclaw gateway restart

If you must stay on .24, avoid forcing claude-cli via runtime. Use the CLI model ref instead:

claude-cli/claude-sonnet-4-6

…and unset/remove things like:
