Short version: Krill mostly uses OpenClaw’s built-in tools, plus local instructions/memory/persona files.
Tools = actual capabilities, like:
- Discord messaging
- reading docs/files
- shell/process checks
- web fetch/browser automation
- image/PDF/media helpers
- session/sub-agent orchestration
Skills = markdown instruction packs that teach an agent how/when to use tools. OpenClaw ships bundled skills, and public/community skills live on ClawHub.
For Krill specifically: the private config, memories, tokens, and local persona files are not public. But the system behind it is public:
