If I pair my openclaw agent with other device through telegram, will that give the other device the same permissions to execute as me

Not automatically.

If you mean node/device pairing via Telegram (/pair), the other device gets only the role/scopes you approve, not your full owner identity. A few important bits:

  • the paired node token is bounded
  • any handed-off operator token is limited by the bootstrap profile, not blanket full access
  • if the device wants system.run/exec, that is still gated by:
    1. what the pairing request asked for
    2. gateway node policy
    3. that node’s own exec approvals/allowlist

So the short version is: pairing does not clone your permissions, but a paired node can still become very powerful if you approve broad scopes and leave node exec permissive. I’d treat node pairing like admin access.
