was trying to apply to jobs on linkeding using openclaw
opened linkedin > ran browser relay extension > gave prompt from telegram > it refreshes page, filters product management roles then does nothing, it doesnt click on apply button and start applying instead gives this error on telegram

tried to solve it with chatgpt but dosnt work.

do anyone know why its happening and have you done something similar in past?

This looks like a plain model rate limit issue, not LinkedIn specifically.

Used 19600 + Requested 17435 > Limit 30000, so the browser step that should inspect the page and click Apply never gets a model response back. LinkedIn pages are huge, so browser relay can burn a lot of tokens fast.

A few things that usually help:

  • do it in smaller steps, not one big “find jobs and apply” prompt
  • narrow the page first, ideally Easy Apply and fewer results
  • switch off that current OpenAI route, or raise its limits
  • set model fallbacks so OpenClaw can retry on another provider when one gets rate-limited

Also, fully automatic LinkedIn applying is pretty flaky in practice, because each posting can open a different form flow.
