If you just updated, my shortlist would be:

1. Control UI / Dashboard
   This is the biggest quality of life win now. Easier chat, config, logs, approvals, and session control.

2. Cron + heartbeats
   This is what makes OpenClaw feel like an actual assistant instead of just a bot you ping manually. Great for reminders, daily briefs, inbox checks, etc.

3. Browser tool
   Super useful for real web tasks. There’s now a clean split between the isolated openclaw browser and your real signed-in user browser when login matters.

4. ACP sessions for Codex / Claude Code / Cursor / Gemini CLI
   If you do coding or repo work, this is a must. Persistent, thread-bound harness sessions are one of the coolest recent additions.

5. ClawHub skills + plugins
   Easiest way to expand OpenClaw without hand-rolling everything. Search, install, update.

6. Media features
   If you send screenshots, voice notes, PDFs, or want image/video/music generation, OpenClaw is a lot stronger here now.

My actual recommendation by use case:

• Personal assistant: Control UI, cron, heartbeats, browser
• Coding assistant: ACP sessions, browser, Control UI
• Power user / tinker: ClawHub, media, mobile nodes

Real must-haves

1. Browser tool
   Probably the biggest practical upgrade. If you want OpenClaw to do real web tasks, this is huge.

2. ACP sessions
   For Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI style workflows. This is one of the best additions if you do anything coding-related.

3. Cron + heartbeats
   This is what turns it from “chat bot” into “personal assistant that remembers to do stuff”.

Very worth using

4. Control UI / Dashboard
   Massive quality-of-life improvement for chat, logs, config, approvals, and session control.

5. /think, /fast, /verbose, /status, /tasks
   These are sleeper features. Not flashy, but they make daily use way better.

   • /think for harder tasks
   • /fast when you want speed
   • /verbose when debugging
   • /status for health/usage
   • /tasks for background jobs

6. ClawHub skills/plugins
   Super nice if you want to expand capabilities without building everything yourself.

Nice depending on your setup

7. Media features
   Screenshots, PDFs, voice notes, image/video/music generation, all much more useful now.

8. Mobile nodes
   Very worth it if you want phone-based voice, camera, location, or device actions.
