I just setup openclaw on a remote desktop, and Ive connected to the web server. I used a gemini 2.5 flash model to run on it. howevrer, when I ttype to it, the AI will appear to be thinkinng, and not respond at all.

First thing, what does this show on the remote desktop / gateway host?

openclaw --version

Then please paste these too:

openclaw status
openclaw models status
openclaw gateway status

And while that is running, send one test message to the bot and watch:
