Hi everyone! I'm experiencing the image/vision bug described in issue #23452 - when I send multiple images in Discord, the assistant references the first image instead of the latest one.

I understand this is a known high-severity bug. Does anyone know if a fix is being worked on, and if so, what's the ETA?

I found the issue metadata. I’m checking whether it was actually fixed or just auto-closed.

I checked the GitHub issue.

Short version: I don’t see an active fix or ETA right now.

What I found:

  • Issue #23452 was closed by the stale bot on Apr 9, with state_reason: not_planned, not because a full fix landed.
  • There’s no assignee, milestone, or linked “this is shipping in X” note.
  • One comment points to PR #51373, but that was only a partial fix for CLI-routed inbound turns, not a general Discord/multi-channel vision fix.

So for your exact Discord symptom, I would treat it as still unresolved unless proven otherwise on latest.

Best next step:

  1. Retry on the latest release
  2. If it still happens, open a fresh GitHub issue with:
    • openclaw --version
    • channel = Discord
    • a minimal repro
