Gateway receives inbound messages fine, but proactive sends via the message tool always fail with:
Error: No active WhatsApp Web listener (account: default)

Steps taken:

  • openclaw channels logout + channels login (QR scanned, credentials saved ✅)
  • openclaw gateway restart multiple times
  • openclaw doctor shows: linked, auth age 5m, connected ✅
  • But sends still fail

OpenClaw version: latest (Watchtower auto-update). Node v25.6.1, macOS arm64.
