I trade GBPUSD Forex. I manual trade only. Never found a script that would not eventually beak. Most people who trade algos, double their money and keep pulling it out until it breaks. Then they re-fund a new account and start over if their recipe goes into drawdown and makes the account go poof.

Gotcha, makes sense. These scripts that my setup is asking me to put in to my tradebot dir is where im stuck. I would start with a basic one somewhere just to see if i could get it connected and working. That would be a small win first.

Well, if you can't see the code, who knows what the hell it is really doing. At least by papertrading you'll be able to observe it. I don't like black box trading algos.
As they say, when you lose your money, at least you can have solace in that a programming professional advised you.

Probably all full of shit. The first thing I saw was a moving average crossover system. They shilled that in the 70's for $3000. Only works, sometimes, on long term moving averages. 200 / 50 MA crossover.

Yea I figure so just for clicks. Im going to do small trades qqq up and down stuff first and see how it does just to tinker.
