I had the same issue, and ended up moving to CDP too.

I'm running it in a seperate container, just chrome, node, and a barebones X11 desktop. with vnc so I can take over if I need to. Openclaw can communicate to it via CDP.

Works way better than when I tried the relay and extension. and I don't have to log in to click the extension button on chrome all the time.
