Matrix implementation

hey there, created a thread because i think it’s an interesting topic. just today tried out the matrix plugin again and yeah – i agree. some things don’t work as expected or don’t work at all (eg multi account setup). i see there is some activity in the repo, so i hope to be able to migrate to matrix soon so that my chats are on my homeserver (personal privacy concerns).
anyway, i can recommend the discord plugin as well as telegram. i like discord more for organising in channels and threads. the good thing then that i have planned for when matrix is more stable: use mautrix bridges to get everything into matrix and then convert the channels to regular ones and invite the matrix bot there. that kinda worked already (just the bugginess – somehow all messages currently land in the main session, which is not what i want).
but yeah, try out discord and / or telegram! seem pretty stable in my opinion. 🙂

one more thing: on discord, messages have a rather small character limit. that’s kinda annoying both for my own and the agents‘ messages, but i personally can live with it for now as long as i can at one point switch to matrix, which as i said i’m optimistic about.
