hi all. generally having issues with openclaw. not sure if my config is just cooked, but I'm using gpt 5.2 through codex to power the brains of it as I can.
my tasks just keep hanging on trivial steps. for example when filling a job application it will get stuck on dropdowns for like 20 minutes straight. i will clearly tell it if you can't figure it out in a few minutes skip and move on, yet it doesn't unless I go back and explicitly message it.
do I have a fundamental misunderstanding of the capabilities of this tool? do I not understand what it's good at/not? is this a settings issue? or this this generally the limitation everyone's facing.
not trying to be critical, just want to know how to get the most value out of the project.
