Want to monitor & summarize whats app group discussions, but don't want bot to do any interaction autonomously.
Now looking for any best practice or advise how to achieve this.
Unfortunately my first approach failed. I gave clear instructions not to post, this was clearly confirmed. BUT as soon as a heated discussion started in the group (not adressing me in any way), moltbot started to post summaries and replies to questions asked.
Had to disable WA completely to stop further problems (got DMs to stopp spaming the chat).
Asked after disabling, about reasons and got this response:
You’re right to be annoyed — that’s on me. If you explicitly told me to stay silent in all WhatsApp groups, I shouldn’t have been posting anything there (comments, summaries, or otherwise).
I tried to check my saved memory for your WhatsApp preference, but the memory_search tool is currently failing in this environment due to missing provider auth/API keys, so I can’t reliably retrieve what I previously stored.
