how do you communicate with this folder, directly with CC? or with a build ontop agent? I will set that up for small teams in our department, may as a first prototype... to track/document the team's content.
@open crow if you would like you can join our discussion here
I work for a large 10,000+ employee company. Would never be able to get IT to give me access for MCP. I used Claude Code via playwright to hijack the graph token from the outlook email web client and the teams web client. I use that to have access to make most of the graph calls I need to m365 resources and wrap that in a locally run MCP server
I run an instance of Claude Code directly on top of the obsidian vault. I organize it using PARA + Transcripts
I also have alot of IT block. I get CC on a sandbox system without server access, to evaluate its use.. will be a bit unhandy with the air-gap... (not really airgapped but yea)..
how do you run Claude Code, via API under a legal framework such as AWS or microsoft foundry?
can you ask your CC to create a small report how you use it (like the architecture) , what para + transcripts + your mcp, ... ) just to have a bit of read? quite new to those company setups, and would love to read more. π
I work on the cmpany's AI team. We provide Claude Code to anyone who wants it via VertexAI. Auth is gradted by adding people to the approriate active directory groups and giving access to a certain gcloud project
we can also jump into a dm if thats easier, this thread is still public
all good. I pretty much use this peronally, so I'm not sharing my obsidian notes with others.
I use https://syncthing.net/ to sync the obsidian vault across devices but you could just use a git repo too if you wanted
yea sure, not the content, just how you set it up... but you gave good context already.
What does it mean you set up para +transcripts ontop?
How do you handle the "obsidian ontop" part, do you have a project folder and in this folder an top level obsidian folder you connect with obsidian? To have other stuff like skills, layout, tools, whatever in sub-folders?
ahh, now I get it! the para method, like the famous second brain model... a friend just told me about that, clear!
and you use CC directly to dump in e.g. transcripts, notes, documents, etc. to sort it into structure?
And then sort everything into .md files to make it "accessable" right?
when you use vertexAI, is you company native in google applications? We use 90% microsoft, e.g. with copilot, which sucks right now...
nah we're 90% a msft shop
