#Events freeze when you leave the room.

I'm assuming this is for performance or some other reason. But maybe for a few events this could be disabled if possible. For example, 1048 can be seen walking across the test room, if you leave he freezes, and then you can circle around the room and meet him on the other side.

I haven't been paying attention to what rooms, but I think it happens to the airlock when I noclipped out, not that changing it would really make a difference though.

Can leave an item to refine, come back 10 minutes later, and it will not have progresses

I believe 106 gets contained if you leave its room while femur breaker is active

Probably. You can’t really leave 106’s chamber fast enough anymore.

The downside of having code run when not in the room is that it runs every single frame.
