Also you never once notified teams of this 7 day cooldown rule. Because of that my team is highly going to have to forfeit the rest of our games.

Rosters are locked for Master since May 20th. It was announced here on Discord and Social media channels.

I am sorry you were caught off guard by that and although it is one we communicated eg via social media, I definitely agree it is one we can improve on to make the roster rules more visible, eg when leaving or joining a team. I'm not sure removing that rule is the right approach though as we want to avoid eg players playing on multiple teams in a short space of time. We want players to commit to their teams for the season to reduce the risk of dropping out and leaving them scrambling.

What do you think?

overall this system is healthy, but having slightly more Leniency towards teams that are experiencing this level of competition would be appreciated. This format is not something that team in the open / majority of the expert division are used to, and it will take a couple of seasons for it to click.

That paired with the overall user interface makes it equally difficult since many teams have team managers that usually handle registration, roster signups and the like, a lot of problems stem from now players being given that responsibility and having to navigate somewhat blindly.

Anyways
Another option is that the day of roster lock for expert and below only, cooldowns reset for team slot only and the max 3 slots open for final commitments is the season. Players on a 7 day CD still wouldn't be able to move rosters.

I just feel like there needs to be a MASSIVE WARNING message that displayes once roster additions or changes are made. That way teams are aware of this rule and don't make the same "mistake" that we did.
