It would be good to be able to see resale prices (maybe on the computer) of products so I can make a decision whether to buy a product to flip it for cash or not. (I understand used products are mostly for donor parts)

They all have a set price btw for each device. used or not

I realised it after I sent it lol. But talking on the parts bit, I found that everytime it was cheaper to buy a whole used version of the product rather than to buy the individual part so I never did unless it was a rarer item like the flashlight. (Even then I waited for another used one to come up and bought the extra parts after stripping it)

after you make some few more bucks it wont be hard to get by, and this way the shop won't get clogged with unfinished parts lol

I would argue that it would be more realistic to be capable of striping them for parts and discarting the rest.
He is right that the used products are to good for parts, like you can buy two fones for cheaper than a couple of parts and restore one to full while still keping some extra pieces.
