Currently, if I buy a product to cannibalize it for spare parts (this is very common in real life), I have to keep the “base” of the product in a cardboard box at the store. It would be nice to be able to throw it away. That way, I can decide whether a product I bought at auction, for example, is worth repairing or whether I should just keep the parts for future use.

I was thinking the same thing- I am frankly out of space and some things are just more expensive to fully repair then just to pick out the good parts for later

I just buy parts for that " cannibalize " product and i make a lot of money from selll it
