@broken tartan as it mentions in that log Please check /var/log/app_lifecycle.log for more details

#

please provide those.

#

We do not maintain the TruNas app - I submitted the original and they have made several changes so at this point its maintained by them. If its not somehing silly like you already running something on port 3000 i would report it on the TrueNas repository.

#

Correct - no need to quote as its right above

#

/var/log/app_lifecycle.log will most likely have the reason though

#

im sure some google would have some resources on how to ge those logs too

#

Generally unappreciative of being called "peaches"

#

but otherwise generally pretty dry/straightforward

TrueNAS has been on a role of breaking apps by deviating from what developers have listed should be used. Earlier this week they released a Dispatcharr app and tied it to postgres 18 when the application has never ran on version 18 yet. That in turn didn't work and had users flooding into the Dispatcharr discord for help. I wouldn't be surprised if they did something silly with the Tracearr app.

Docker isn't hard to learn. There are plenty of blogs, videos and hand holding articles to get you along. That's how it started for me years ago.

#

Are you running Gluetun VPN with this app and/or others by a chance?

#

I asked because a recent release of Gluetun borked up a lot of things for users. Like the developer said, you'll have to reach out to TrueNAS. Below is the link to the page for that app.

https://forums.truenas.com/c/apps-virt/

"Support, maintenance, and documentation for applications within the Community catalog is handled by the TrueNAS community. The TrueNAS Applications Market hosts but does not validate or maintain any linked resources associated with this app.

There currently aren’t any resources available for this application!

Please help the TrueNAS community add resources here or discuss this application in the TrueNAS Community forum."
