The new offhand behaviour benefits people who for example dont loose their totems anymore on switching to potions, but other people liked using switching hands to cancel weapon effects. Yes you can use an offhand instead but thats way more inconvenient. You also cant have no weapon effect apply to you anymore which might be of use sometimes. The new system is great in some cases but also annoying in others and instead of forcing it on everyone now, add a toggle
