Levelling Guide

Just a disclaimer. This isn’t a “how to maximize xp per min per level” or “the most optimal way to max an account” type of guide.

This guide is purely if you’ve just gotten a 105 and can make some money and want to power level other classes, is it the most optimal way to speedrun 105? No lol.

Is it the most xp per min? Doubt it.

Is it good enough and lazy? Yeah

If you are a new player or do not have 1 character at 105 or max level and are reading this guide I highly recommend instead checking out Celeste’s new player guide thread, it’ll cover all the information you need and more.

Before reading further, do know that although you can power level to max within under 4 hours (assuming dxp bombs during parties which they tend to have, no dxp weekend, no discord dxp(do not use it), and not counting cosmic time), 10-20 if you dont know what you’re doing/don’t have the gear.

Do not worry about being behind, do not worry about missing out on much, do not worry about consequences for not being optimal.

Wynn is not dark souls, hardcore vanilla, or anything difficult, everything here is fairly comfy and there’s no real punishment. Just know that power levelling then going back to do quests is effectively playing story mode, while doing quests a level is closer to easy to normal mode depending on the class and how up to date your gear is. Feel free to play however you want, i’m just giving you a heads up that at the end of the day you’re skipping out on a lot and there’s no consequence for taking your time.

If you are looking at this for levelling information as a new player, I recommend simply doing quests, caves, world events, and dungeons.

Levelling up in wynncraft isn’t difficult and the conditions necessary for it aren’t hard to meet, the problem with power levelling your first playthrough is that

A. Quests will feel tedious. You’ll need to do a good handful of them either way, and if you go back to experience it like story mode you’d either do it for 0 benefit or the unlocks. It’ll feel like a chore, while if you do it at level you get usable money, gear, xp, unlocks, and info for your level

B. Not have the Money necessary to get even simple endgame gear to go back and do quests, or start doing endgame content

C. Not know the locations of the map or even the places i’ll mention and therefore end up stuck, lost, confused, or just in the middle of some random town with no way home due to not having money for teleport scrolls

D. The endgame content, although abundant and fun, only goes so far since you’re just making money to make money. You CAN go back and do quests while way out of level, but half of them involve combat and you’ll miss out on quest bosses feeling like a proper boss in that level frame. Of course don’t let this stop you from out levelling the boss if it’s too difficult or getting better gear.

Listed below will be twofold, xp gear to keep an eye out for if you roll high, and high xp gear that will be enough for powerlevelling.

THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT CAN BE EXPENSIVE FOR BOTH A NEW PLAYER AND AS XP GEAR IN GENERAL

I’ve seen some of these be like 30le, so realistically? Go use the cheap set I recommend instead of this if you can afford it, some of them you can farm like guard’s garment but overall it’s more QoL to spend less time power levelling than necessary

Lazy/Full power levelling route

This path is not entirely “optimal” in the sense that you will not gain 100% xp per mob because of a level gap in places, but overall for one reason or another it’s worth doing out of sheer laziness + less places to move between

#

1-20

  • Exit straight out of ragni and stop before entering nivila forest

  • head straight down from the yellow X and you will see a cave and a world event near the black Xs

  • a little further down you’ll see a bunch of zombies spawning next to a tree

This is zombie tree, wear the recommended gear and farm, it should be safe and easy to get from 1-15 without a mob totem and 20 if you want to spend the extra time.

If you can, drop a mob totem and you should be able to comfortably get to 20 within a few minutes, if you get on a a dxp server this’ll be much faster

15-30

Exit the EASTERN exit of detlas, the exit containing player shops, the trade market, and the start to the stable story questline.

Follow the red line/dirt path until you see an intersection, go south. You will see an entrance but sometimes the ranged mobs on top act weird and like to hit you, if you continue south and follow the red path there is a very empty opening by the white circle where you can take advantage of the rocks to slow down the mobs and gain breathing room.

Realistically you can get here pretty early and take advantage of the amount of mobs, but it might be more difficult since there is a mob in the middle that can do ranged attacks

IF YOU ARE COMING HERE AT LEVEL 15

I recommend having a mob totem or a strong weapon so you can make up for lost health by levelling up

30-45

Near Olux there’s a fairly comfortable spot with lvl 55 swamp nagas to farm, realistically if you can’t totem this you won’t get any reasonable rates but it’s safe and fairly consistent spawning so staying here for a few levels to make flesh cave a bit easier is usually worth while since it means less time spent being 30 levels below the average mob at flesh cave

Once you follow the red path from olux (blue being a safeish path from llevigar to olux) the orange mushroom is a safe spot to hide since ranged mobs don’t spawn close enough to aggro

Do /pfinder and join a flesh cave party, these usually appear during the weekend or you can try and start your own (having a few people in it helps)

If you can’t find a party and still need to level up i recommend sitting on the bones in the picture, it’s… safer.. than being out in the open, but you still need to watch out for the big mini boss.

I also recommend gathering all the xp consus you want or can use, and keeping the level 50+ gear on you.

If you have them laying around, potions of wisdom are nice and **tier 1s (found in chests, mage island potion merchant, or zhight brew merchant) ** and 2s(chests and zhight island) can be used while levelling here and do not count as a crafted consu so they can be used alongside those for an even bigger boost overall.

The first picture shows a direct path towards flesh cave, it’s fairly straight forward just head directly north of the bank in gelibord and you’ll see “visceral remnants”

The second pic is a safe path from olux towards gelibord with a fairly low amount of mobs

The last pic is the safe spot for solo levelling

Go check out #??? carriers and get carried to get cosmic armor, it’ll take idk 20 minutes but you’ll end up with an up to 200%+ xp gear set for this, if you don’t want to there’s probably crafted xp gear for level 80+ but idk about them and they cost money while cosmic is basically free and you gain 1 le

Also familiarize yourself with this so I don’t end up making ??? Carriers suffer bc of this (sorry guys : D)

if you want a non quest locked set of xp gear go to the 80 level section, it’s 39% total less but it doesnt require ???, though considering how grind parties are usually active on weekends you might as well go do it for extra xp

Big bucks time! Slap on that cosmic gear, do /pfinder and go join a scrap party! They’re usually active on weekends towards the night (at least for NA)

healer warning
Party will likely dieinstantly without a proper healer or 2. If you want, wear old keeper’s ring and vindicator, this will work like jingling jester and help sustain some healing though you might need a stealing weapon or tome to sustain more. But you’ll lose 18% xp.

When you get there BE CAREFUL because unless you jump right into the pit where the healer is (assuming there is one) you WILL die pretty fast, this gear is for xp bonus not survivability so proceed with caution depending on your class.

The blue line is the path from the nearest island, if you’ve done order of the grook the mage island hub directly sends you there. i believe selchar can seaskipper you there as well, after that well.. swim.. unless you want to do envoy 1. You could buy a boat from seaskipper too but movement spells are faster since a boat is like 8-9 blocks per second

Stolen goods tends to drop fairly often from the canyon of the lost area and you get a ton while lootrunning, so just run around there and get some or buy it off the trade market for cheap and shove them into the scrolls and potions and get a free 40-60% xp bonus for basically the whole time you’re there.

the slower but less xp greedy route

This path is a little bit more straight forward and doesn’t have you kicking around level 55 mobs at level 35 and level 78 mobs at level 40 respectively, but at the same time I will give this warning

Llevigar spiders, church, and desert alter are all painful to do

They have specific mobs or reasons that make them annoying but i will still list them in case you’re not confident in getting to olux safely.

Overall, the path is the same but you prioritize going to the following listed spots before going to the other route’s spots.

the reason i don’t recommend it is because ranged mobs are common and it isn’t the most comfortable to survive here, however it’s very much doable especially if you dump into Defence or are say a paladin.

Desert alter is a little safer than saint’s row in some ways, more dangerous than others. Although there isn’t a constant inflow of ranged mobs, there are fairly powerful ranged mobs that you can’t really defend from or tank. You can deaggro and backstab with shadestepper but shadestepper also sucks at power levelling

The light blue regions are generally “safe” with the occasional strong ranged mob spawning so you can comfortably kite the melee only mobs there to kill.

The black areas however arent. Commonly rare ranged mobs spawn there a good amount so if you hang out there be ready to did

Llevigar spiders is alright however you’ll rarely find a party for it, so 99% of the time you’ll be soloing it. If you’re soloing it try and kill the broodmothers ASAP. Their ranged attack has little obvious windup and travel time, it will more or less one shot you when you run out of sprint or mana. There’s no real safe spots here unless you’re trapper where you can launch mines near the exit.

## Grind parties

Grind spots such as scrap and flesh tend to have grind parties. This is how you SHOULD do these areas, however flesh can be soloed just nowhere near the rate i’d recommend for level 45+

These parties tend to be active on the weekends and can be found on /pf or /pfinder to see what parties are active.

Sometimes you will join a party with multiple people and turns out nobodys online, this is because the party ended but the pfinder didn’t delete it. Just leave and find a different one.

You will also see that some likely have a level requirement, this can be circumvented by just going to your 105 class, joining the party, and switching to the class you want to level. (You did do your quests and have a regular 105 right? If not i cant help you here, you’ll need to ask them to get you in or make your own)

While waiting for these parties to be active, you might as well go do stuff like order of the grook for renda langit(sky wood ruhk wand) to sell for 20le or ??? For cosmic set if you’re at level 80. If you’re not able to find a party for either, i guess power level another class to 45/80 so you can have multiple completed at once.

__## General useful xp bonuses __

DO NOT USE YOUR DISCORD XP BONUS FOR THIS.

It is specifically NOT mentioned because it is a waste to use it for mob xp, this routing will take you 4-5 hours. The discord xp bonus is ADDITIVE and will NOT shave off enough time to matter. Save it for when you know more about endgame and use it for crafting professions.

While not mentioned, you should keep a nest of the grookslangs and nexus of light charm in your inventory as soon as you can take advantage of them.

These both give MULTIPLICATIVE (one of the few) xp bonus and easily help while levelling for basically a permanent 30% on average.

These drop from their respective raids occasionally and realistically you should do them for money to buy the xp gear and to have said charms.

Although not as powerful as the other two, during the festival of heroes that typically occurs from march to April you can get a trinket called the ring of memories. This trinket can provide up to 15% additive xp bonus, although it isn’t much it’s still nice.

Lightbender is less preferable but a good substitute healer, far less damage and xp than arcanist though

## Goblin silver ring

To get the goblin silver ring go north of llevigar and kill goblins found in the orange area I circled, you need 6

Afterwards use seaskipper and go to either jofash docks or the ice islands and swim to the island I marked in orange

In there, there is a house towards the top of the island with a basement that has a hopper, kill a “human” outside and bring the key to drop in there, from there you can buy the xp rings
