#📚 Rule Updates - May 2025
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Game Rule 1. No hacking/hacked clients.
- Added a note to look at the rule clarifications section for a list of allowed/disallowed mods (https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/game-forum-rules.111874/#post-3525359)
Game Rule 2. Macros
- Specified that macros that loop through different spells are not allowed
- Added a note that you can't break any other rules while using allowed macros (example: AFK farming isn't allowed under Game Rule 19)
Game Rule 11. Do not deliberately grief players
- This rule has been updated from the old player-made invasion rule
- Added cases that are actionable:
- Stalling raid parties (specifically with not lagging but refusing to exit a room)
- Party bombs in specific circumstances
- Intentional debuffing others with scrolls
Game Rule 16. No inappropriate content
- Generalized rule title to say just "content," instead of having examples in the title
- Updated examples of content to include shouts
Game Rule 19. Do not AFK farm and do not grind at unintended locations
- Emphasized the you in "You must be inputting actions to receive rewards." Nothing else should be imputing actions (objects, software, etc.)
Game Rule 20. No In Game Bots
- Added a general definition of an in-game bot account
📝 Rule Clarifications:
Am I allowed to trade Wynncraft items or emeralds for items in other games?
❌ Not allowed
- Made it even more clear that this falls under IRL trading
Am I allowed to use multiple accounts simultaneously to grind raid rewards?
❌ Not allowed
- You can only join raids one account at a time. Joining a raid on multiple accounts is considered AFK farming, even if the alts die, since alt accounts will be AFK during every stage.
❌ Disallowed Modifications:
Added more mod features that are relevant in the modern day. Regardless of its inclusion on this list, your mod/feature is not allowed if it provides you a gameplay advantage. This is not a full blacklist because it is not feasible to list every disallowed modification/feature.
1) Entity name display or beacon beam for dropped items
Example: Loot Beams
2) Mob spawn notifications
3) Blindness/darkness removal, including resourcepacks/shaders that do this
4) Autolooting chests (reworded from autoscreening)
5) Removing blindness/darkness effects or making barrier blocks visible (this includes shaders/resourcepacks)
6) Noted that client-based quick stash and deposit to inventories fall under automatic inventory sorters
This also means that the Item Scroller mod is not allowed
7) Inventory interaction without being in the inventory menu
Includes auto-hotbar fillers (used in some building QoL mods)
8) Automatic collection of trade market data that the player is not viewing actively
Example: Salt Road
âś… Allowed Modifications:
Added a some mods that had FAQs or confusion. This does not mean a listed mod is allowed forever, just that it was reviewed and the feature it was reviewed for was allowed when it was added.
1) Autoclickers
Allowed as long as the use complies with Game Rule 2: Macros
2) Increasing the display size of dropped item entities
3) Saving and automatically reapplying a skill point/ability tree loadout
4) Replaymod
Though, this does not allow you to use it to X-ray or see locations that the player shouldn't normally have access to.
5) Inventory HUDs
Being able to view your inventory slots is not seen as a major gameplay advantage. However, interacting with your inventory while performing non-inventory actions (like walking around) is not allowed.
Example: Inventory HUD+
6) Mouse Tweaks
Just allows for rapid shift-clicking of items
7) Proximity voice chat
All reports should be sent to the mod creator or their preferred reporting location. This reporting procedure should be made clear to the mod users.
Proximity chats will be treated like private voice calls
8) Discord chat bridge
No breaking Game Rule 20 (for example, no automatic bomb bell alternative)
9) Automatic guild raid reward logging
No breaking Game Rule 20
10) Wynncraft world event tracker
The mod crowdsources information from players legally
No breaking Game Rule 20
11) Wynnventory
This mod collects data only on the items that the player views manually, not auto-scanning the whole menu without player input.
