#An introduction to raids: a mini guide to its mechanics and features
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
So you have just reached level 54 and completed the Realm of light part 1 quest? That's great
! Now you have unlocked a major piece of content called raids.
What are raids?
- Raids are 4 player team content which you and your team clear 3 challenge rooms and defeat a boss at the end. Completing them gives many kinds of rewards and they are an amazing source of power upgrades and consistent emerald gain.
- There are 4 different kinds of raids , each having different level and quest requirements , and requires a different kind of rune to enter the raid.
How to start a raid
- To start a raid , have the rune cost and talk to the raid keeper of a specific raid or do /partyfinder or /pf (if you have wynntils mod), then click the diamond button then select the raid you want to do.
- If you don't have a party of 4 , pressing ready will queue you into matchmaking to try find 3 other players to start a raid. Once it finds 3 other players an ender dragon roar will play and you have 15s seconds to click ready up. Once all 4 players click ready , the raid starts.
- If you are in a party of 4 players in the same guild , the raid turns into a GUILD RAID , enemies and boss become harder but you gain more rewards and aspects.
- This is optional however. You can toggle off a guild raid if 1 player clicks the guild symbol to opt out of the guild raid.
That's cool and all but what do I do inside the raid?
- No worries! Here is the list of raid guides you can check out to see what to do inside the raid.
- However keep in mind you should ALWAYS tell your party if you are new to a raid so they may explain how each room works. (Do /p (msg) to talk in party chat).

Dying in a challenge will cause you to lose a bit of rewards. So try not to die if possible.
-
After completing each challenge , you will enter a buff room. You will be given a choice between some buffs. To claim a buff , hold right click on the buff you want to claim it for the current run.
-
It is important to note that raids SCALE TO YOUR OWN LEVEL. For example: what may be a 1.8m hp boss for you at lvl 54 is a 18m hp boss for a lvl 105 player.
Managed to successfully complete your 1st raid?
- That's great! You will automatically gain some combat XP and are able to claim the reward chest. Aspects are automatically claimed so you don't have to pick those up. While the other rewards you have to pick them up to take them. Every week the aspect and emerald lootpool will change.
- You can check websites like WYNNPOOL , NORIWYNN or WYNNASPECTS to see each raids aspect pool for the week.
- Inside the chest you can get many kinds of rewards. These include:
- Aspects
- Mastery tomes
- Emeralds
- Ability shards
- T3-5 powders
- T1-3 corkian amplifiers
- Crafter bags
- Accessories
- Charms
- Armor (TCC and TNA only)
- Weapons (TNA only)
- The 1st time you completed a different raid everyday gives extra raiding XP , 1 reroll , extra pulls and aspects. You can use rerolls to reroll rewards you don't want. Mainly example when there's low money or no mythic aspect drop.
- But what do some of these items do? Let's go ahead to some of the main unlocks.
Aspects
- Aspects are PERMANENT account upgrades that are shared across ALL CLASSES that you get upon completing a raid. These are automatically claimed when opening the raid chest. They generally buff your class abilities that range from small to very large boosts.

- There's 5 aspect slots. Each having a requirement to unlock on each class.
- The 1st slot is automatically unlocked , the 2nd slot requires lvl 20 , the 3rd slot requires lvl 40 , the 4th slot requires lvl 60 , and the last slot requires lvl 80 and sentinel 3 raiding lvl.
- Aspects come in 3 rarities. When obtaining a duplicate of an aspect , it progresses it's upgrade meter. Collect enough duplicates to upgrade the aspect and enhancing it.
- Amount of dupes to level up each aspect:
legendary
- Lvl 2: 4
- Lvl 3: 25
- Max lvl: 120
fabled
- Lvl 2: 14
- Max lvl: 60
mythic
- Lvl 2: 4
- Max lvl: 10
Mastery tomes
- These are items that slightly boost your stats. To equip them , you must have ROL 1 quest completed , click on the mastery tome page and click on an empty slot with the appropriate tome to equip them. Simply click a tome to remove it from the tome slot.
- There's many types of tomes. And each tome type has a limited amount of slots , with more being unlocked as you level up.

- Guild tomes (lvl 105): these are obtained in guilds. Gives 4 or 5 skill points.
Powder specials
- While powders are introduced at low lvls , they didn't account for powder specials. These are generally first encountered when you unlocked raids.
- To activate a powder special , insert 2 of the same element powder of T4 or higher on a weapon or armor to activate a powder special buff. The higher the average tier of the 2 powders are , the stronger the powder special is up to lvl 5.
- Let's explain the weapon powder specials first. To charge it up , use main attacks to hit an enemy to charge a bar below your crosshair. Once it is full a small ding sound will play and you can shift left click (or shift right click if archer) to active the powder special.
- Powder special charging speed scales with attack speed. So lower attack speed requires less hits to activate the powder special.
List of weapon powder special abilities:
- Quake (earth): does 240%/280%/320%/360%/400% main atk dmg and stuns all mobs in a radius 4.5/5/5.5/6/6.5 blocks from the player for a tiny bit. Can proc lifesteal and manasteal.
- Chain lightning (thunder): chains up to 5/6/7/8/9 enemies within 14 blocks and does 200%/225%/250%/275%/300% main atk dmg. Can proc lifesteal and manasteal for every enemy hit.
- Curse (water): applies "curse" debuff to all enemies within 8 blocks, causing them to take 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%/20% more damage for 4 seconds. This damage buff is multiplicative and also works on ally hits.
- Courage (fire): does 60%/70%/80%/90%/100% main atk dmg to enemies within 5 blocks and gives you and nearby allies a 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%/20% multiplicative damage boost for 4 seconds.
- Wind prison (air): traps nearby enemies in a wind prison for up to 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds and hold them in place. The next hit dealt to them during the prison deals 100%/125%/150%/175%/200% more damage. ANY hit can trigger the damage boost.
Armor powder specials
- These are passive buffs that temporarily give a specific elemental damage boost depending on the special. There is a cap to armor powder special damage boosts and having multiple specials of the same element only helps makes the cap hit faster.
List of armor powder special abilities:
- Rage (earth): Increase earth dmg by 0.2%/0.4%/0.6%/0.8%/1% for each percent of missing health below 75%. Caps at 240% dmg boost.
- Killstreak (thunder): Increase thunder dmg by 3%/4.5%/6%/7.5%/9% for 5 seconds when you kill a mob. Duration resets on mob kill and caps at 150% dmg boost.
- Concentration (water): Increases water dmg by 0.05%/0.10%/0.15%/0.20%/0.25% per mana spent for 1 second per mana spent when a spell is casted. Caps at 100% dmg boost.
- Endurance (fire): Increase fire dmg by 2%/3%/4%/5%/6% for 8 seconds when taking damage. Caps at 100% dmg boost.
- Dodge (air): Increase air dmg by 2%/3%/4%/5%/6% each second spent near an enemy within 5 blocks. Lasts 60 seconds if there are no mobs nearby. When getting hit the dmg boost is lost. Agility dodge doesn't count as getting hit and won't lose the dmg boost and caps at 150% dmg boost.
Corkian amplifiers
- These items slightly enhance the of getting better ID rolls for POSITIVE ID's when identifying or rerolling an item.
- To use them , talk to the item identifier and click "corkian augments", then insert the item and click the amplifier you want to use and now your rolls will get a tiny bit better!
Silverbull raiding syndicate and raiding levels
- Once hitting level 65 , you will be unable to start a raid and have to talk to the raid keeper to teleport you to the silverbull headquarters and sign up for a raiding division before being allowed to start raids again.
- Once signing up , your ACCOUNT will now be able to gain raid XP. Completing a raid gives 100 raid XP. And every day completing a different raid gives 40 bonus raid XP.
