Shadow Amadel's movement in the WynnExcevation Site D quest, his high vertical jump, is a good idea, but it ruins the tempo of the fight. Because of how high he jumps and how frequently he jumps, there are like 10 intervals in the middle of the fight where all you do is wait for him to stay on the ground for a longer period of time so you can at least land one hit on him. I thankfully was playing Assassin so I had vanish that forced him into staying on the ground because he was not aggro'd, but that only made it marginally better.
I will be honest, because of how unfun it was compared to the entire game I played so far, I genuinely was hoping it was a bug and recorded a part of my gameplay to visibly show it, however, someone else has experienced Shadow Amadel jumping around so much that the fight effectively had intermissions so I assume it is intentional game design and not a bug and that's why I am here to say this boss mechanic stops the momentum of the quest and is frankly irritating in a gameplay standpoint.
