But I do, and I like it taking a lot of time and effort, makes it meaningful to achieve 
Not everybody will find all content fun unfortunately. I enjoy the prof system as it is right now and I don’t think anything seems absolutely unachievable
What if certain profession spots had a chance to turn into higher class spots that give more xp and resources. (Like Copper could have a chance to become a "Copper Vein")
and maybe these rare spots have a minigame associated with them?
I think the idea of adding minigames or some more active/focus-based way of leveling would be really cool. Something like a mining minigame that gives mining xp depending on your level.
It would be nice to be able to switch things up once in a while so that leveling mining 0 -> 100 isnt always the exact same thing just at different spots, could help prevent burnout 🙂

^random minigame like catching az ruins for xp/(new tier maybe 4) items so you could have “super” crafts if you really really wanted to grind for it
