Today after maintenance it seems a stricter password strength check is in place. Several of my friend accounts and my side accounts can no longer be logged in, with message "your account has a weak or compromised password. Please reset it here". Unfortunately these accounts are created many years ago (up to 8-9 years) and the emails used that time often are no longer used now. So we can't reset the password to satisfy the strength requirements. All the accounts can be accessed a few days ago (some even earlier today). So is it possible that we temporarily disable this new password strength check, for a week for example, so we can transfer pokes in these account to other accounts? Otherwise we would lose lots Pokémon that we accumulated for years... thanks.

These are my side accounts given to me by my sisters/friends, I did not bother to update passwords. We should give notice on the implementation of tightened password rules. At least give a few days of warning so we can update password or move Pokémons before forcing a reset.

Notice could not be given - There was an active attack targeting weak-password accounts, I caught it in time and mitigated the attack but if I just left it to give notice, you wouldn't even have an account to be notified about - it would belong to someone else.
I understand that when an account may be given to you, the first thought isn't to change the password and/or email address but it is your responsibility to make sure your account(s) are secure and information is up to date, you shouldn't have to be told in a warning/notice to do it.
With that said, I don't understand why your intention is to move everything from the account(s) instead of just updating the password and email address once you have access to do so.
(And no, it's not going to temporarily be removed so you can trade with yourself

I can update the passwords if I am allowed to login, but without accessing to the old email, I can't change the email as a confirmation email will be sent to the old one for confirmation, right?

Also no, that's not how email address changing works. It sends a confirmation email to the new one, not the old one.
Doesn't make much sense sending an email to the old one as the reason for email change in the first place is likely because you can't access the old one.
