The Wise platform generated by Filia in the last room (“Cradle of Steam”) in the Hotspring Cave right before the boss fight is entirely skippable since the platform it's supposed to help us reach can be reached from the platform highlighted in the 2nd screenshot. I didn't even try to skip it, I just spontaneously did and was then caught off-guard by the boss battle starting without me having so much as interacted with the Wise ring thingies you can ask Filia to use to spawn stuff.
