#Make story with multiplayer option

  1. SUMMARY
    I play Aion with my wife and we spent most of the game separated during the quest. I wanted to play an mmo not a single player game.

  2. MAIN ISSUE
    Most of the starting content is solo and a grind. It reminds me of bdo rather than an mmorpg. It can cause burnout for casuals or people playing with friends. I found strongholds boring and burned out on them. Same with sealed dungeons. The main story was cool but being unable to play with my wife or friends in a mmorpg destroyed the point of it being an mmorpg. I rather have played Where Winds Meet or Elden Ring if I wanted a single player with multiplayer options.

  3. POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
    Please give us the option to do story in a party. Give us the ability to teleport to strongholds or dungeons directly. I don’t like that it’s part of the end game content. If it was side content then make it optional not required to upgrade belt. Allow us to do them in parties and teleport to them like regular dungeons since they are mandatory. I just didn't do sealed dungeons because after collecting feathers and doing some strongholds; I said enough is enough. I feel like a majority of players also said no because my friends list instantly died after everyone reached 45. Create fun multiplayer aspects not grinding side content solo on repeat; no one in NA likes that.

  4. EVIDENCE/EXAMPLES
    I’m assuming that is the reasons each feather counted as four? It feels like side content is requiring us to farm like it’s a job. Make better dungeon content or raids if they’re there just to waste time. I believe if there was a poll; most players would want the side content to be optional. Sealed Dungeons would be ok if there were less and if you could just teleport. Dungeons are gatekeeped so players not doing side content will be prevented from joining dungeon groups. I had to do feathers because people kept kicking me..then got kicked because of my belt.

Totally agree. ✅
Also content like msq quests/bosses and sealed dungeons can be easily automatically scaled for 1, 2 or more players. So it doesnt seem like we try to “hack” the game by killing a boss easier by being more ppl. So it would be very nice.

Definitely. The side/mandatory content is killer when it pretty much forces you to do solo. I didn't even bother grinding pets. Not sure if you can do it in a party. That would be nice.
