My F1 Career

S1 2009

I signed for Renault
(Bad Idea)
But with Fernando Alonso by my side.

Throughout the 2009 Season was a couple podiums but the season was Ridden with DNFs

Ultimatley we were P11 AND P9 Respectively at the end of the Season

S2 2010

I remained With Renault (Now Lotus) for the last season of my Renault campaign

The season was alot better with myself and Nick Heidfeld claiming 1 win each at our home tracks

Midway through the season i was reached out to by mercedes team boss Ross Brawn who asked me to sign with The team (best idea ever) and i joined them for 2011

S3 2011

At Mercedes i got the teams first win at Australia!

Between me and Nico Rosberg we had 5 wins

Securing P3 in the WCC and P4 & P5 Respectively in the WDC

S4 2012

The car started showing life as i took P1 in thr first 4 Races.

I face Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) for the WDC loosing in the last race by 1 point

S5 2013

Moving to the newly rebranded Porsche Force India, I took an unexpected run of great results containing 3 Wins and another 7 Podiums

S6 2014

The start of the turbo hybrid era meant good for Porsche facing my old team Mercedes but ultimately we prevailed taking Many wins and 11 Podiums between myself and Nico Hülkenberg

S7 2015

Sticking with Porsche Force India, I decided to call it a day on waiting for my first every WDC and i did just that...

15 Podiums
1 DNF

Was enough to secure me Title number 1

S8 2016

Porsche completed a full rebrand to now Tag Heuer Porsche but underneath the Sidepods, was the same old roaring lion. I followed a strong 2015 with and WDC and WCC in 2016.

S9 2017

What a Year this one was
New regulations meant we were yet again the ones to beat winning every race, Myself and Pascal Wherlein took 21 wins between us, Majority of which were mine, allowing me to claim my 3rd WDC the teams 2nd WCC and a 1-2 in the WDC

S10 2018

With another batch of regulations right of the bat, we had a fight with Scuderia Ferrari, unfortunately they beat us.

S11 2019

My last season with Porsche because from 2015 - 2017 they were caught cheating with Illegal DRS and Engines. I made it a memorable one taking 7 Wins and 8 Podiums back to the team.

S12 2020

Signing again for Mercedes they brought back the 4th for me.

Ultimately with the best car we defeated Porsche by a long shot despite them being found out by the FIA for cheating. I got P1 and Nico Rosberg got P2 in the WDC with 16 Wins Between us 8 a piece.

S13 2021

My Last season is always a tearful one going out with a bang getting 20 Podiums
9 Race Wins and of course my 4th WDC.
