nah it was due to the williams being rly good in a straight line, and nicholas latifi as the benchmark

i never believed in it mainly because of how invalid his championships were

in f2, the grid was so unserious, latifi was p2 in the championship

in formula e, the stupid quali format insured de vries a win, along with other issues, and once they got rid of that format, he got outscored by vandoorne by like a hundred points

and as the guy above said, williams were projected to be really good in monza due to their straightline speed, and his rival was literally latifi

was never behind of the hype
