not well, not really top3 competitive anymore, he cant keep up with the young riders, hes more a top 10 rider these days

also yamaha havent delivered a competitive bike this yr

well not really, its only quartararo who shone for a while, but nowhere near the performance of the ducatis or the hondas over the whole season

yes they caught up a bit towards the end, but the yams were still lacking, in rossi's case i dont think it would help him though even if the yam was super competitive
