This isn't an isolated case according to Sniffer+'s issue tracker https://github.com/Dariensg/Hellions-Sniffer-Plus/issues/43
Both OP and the issue tracker logs point at the Sniffer+ model's saddle as breaking starting rendering, which is odd. Others have theorized on the issues tracker it has something to do with REI/NEI, but no evidence shown for it.
I'm assuming this crash is consistent through multiple attempts.
