@median plank To set your panels to dark mode please do the following:

1. Close down your chat and stream information
2. In OBS go to View > Docks > Chat
3. Click on the cog, go to non-mod settings
4. Look under My Preferences to enable/disable dark mode
5. You can then reopen your docks under View > Docks

Please try to roll back to the original design and try logging in once again. The login via facebook is not controlled by us, what ever facebook links to your credentials is on their end..

But the new design also breaks alerts etc.

I've got the same issue happened after Facebook changed my page to another type. I can confirm login in and out, resetting passcodes, and complete reinstall doesn't fix it. Broken link is from Facebook live end streaming elements isn't picking up when you go live. Hope one of us finds a fix.

In my case the chat window depends on my "normal" Facebook-Page. I have to turn the Darkmode on/off there to get the same mode in the OBS Chat. You can't switch during the live stream.

You get invited as an editor to your friend's account, then you can duplicate the overlay from your account to theirs.

I'm not sure what they did i had a request to accept Facebook moving the stream page to a new version but not sure what they are technically calling it. All i know is when i went to stream the Facebook live page is harder to deal with making sharing harder having to swap profiles. The usual Facebook deal making things harder and more useless and this breaking the link to stream elements as well i think.

Did you work it out Noel you definitely have to revert go into your Facebook stream page in its admin profile probably named the same add your page and head to the three dots and hit switch to classic pages. Worked for me.

I've gone through the settings and put in the new stream key for fb live and switched it to fb live. When I hit apply and then hit start streaming, it goes back to YT. How do I fix this?

@merry blade There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

@sharp apex If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

@slim finch If you are not seeing likes/shares on your current stream or page, that might be due to how the privacy settings of the person liking/sharing your stream are set.
If they are set to private we won't be able to see the events.
Specifically for shares, if they share in private groups, we won't be able to see the event.

@clear pulsar Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

I have gotten locked out of my FB account shortly after going LIVE on OBS with Stream Elements ssssoooo many times now. Shortly after going LIVE, within the first minute or two, FB will say they "notice suspicious activity from my account" and lock it, requiring me to stop the stream and reset my FB password.

Is this a known issue with Stream Elements? Is there something I can do to stop this from happening? It has made it almost impossible to stream now... Thanks in advance for any help.

Good day! Just want to ask something about streamelements with facebook. I think I messed up my sync settiings. So my page likes goes to the Fan count and my Page follows go to the followers count. My problem is it does not sync together, I keep on updating the goals and session data to my pages current like (fan) and follow counts. I think it started messing up when I clicked on several buttons like the reset session which I cant understand. Even the auto session reset button. I just want to know how to fix this cause every time a check my stream elements offline and I do test streams from time to time to check if it updates and it doesnt. Thank you

I have a similar issue with the looping of the login screen as described above, i deleted the obs-browser folder inside of my app data folder. One possible difference is I have 2 facebook gaming accounts signed up. It will let me log into the first one, but every time I choose the 2nd page it continually loops.

I haven't gone live yet with the new addon "OBS.live", but I have tried doing a test and still see Zero followers. I have a Nerd Or Die Overlay pack and everything is all setup due to me using OBS Studios prior to Elements, how do you change the alerts? I'm used to using Streamlabs and Streamlabels. If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

first of all please confirm you've added the server
secondly I suggest fully logging out of OBS.Live and even our system on the website
then, after you log in to OBS.Live with your FB account, allow all permissions,
press 'streamer dashboard' on your would-be chat dock

that'll open your live dashboard
press 'set up live stream'
from there copy the server + stream key into OBS

but start with

i'll repeat, when it doesn't load - it means something is not properly linked or being identified
because when basic settings are in play chat works every time, as soon as your live stream is posted in the page

yeah that's why its been so weird that it hasn't worked because I have not messed with any of the default settings.

what if you choose "go live with these settings" instead of the first option ("Go Live with facebook Streamer dashboard Settings")?

Specifically it's showing I only have 13 followers on the widget, but on my page I have 240?

The widget is set for supposedly pulling the number I put in as a specific amount from my goal data, it does, but then when I get a new follower, it bottoms out for some reason instead of going up 1

go to activity feed, and then click widget data, then session data, find follower count and change that to the current amount of followers you have

next time you replicate this please collect the 2 most recent log files by navigating to help > log files > show log files
you can @ me here when you have them [I might take a little time to reply, but I'll know what to do with the logs]
just make sure you replicate the issue and collect the logs only a few minutes after you see the same error in your chat dock

Ive set up everyting,overlay game capture fine and stream key but for some reason when i say go live and it redirects me to facebook i can get to activate the stream on facebook for some reason I dont know what to do at the graphics section it gives you on facebook

I just finish building my streaming pc the only issue now is that my alerts still show up on my gaming pc in obs, and only audio plays from the streaming pc no video from the alerts im not sure why but ive logged out tof the obs on the gaming pc but still no visuals from the alerts on my streaming pc,

You need to add the browser sources to your OBS on the streaming PC to have them play on the correct PC

if your streaming PC is not displaying the alerts, but has sound - please check the browser source settings

make sure it has the correct resolution for your overlay

and that the position of the overlay is correct

When you start the stream on facebook, can you use the option "go live with the dashboard settings"?
Do not remember the exact wording, but there are 2 options - you need the one that let's you start the stream with the existing settings

Yes i have created a facebook gaming page and inserted the streamkey to my software and ive also linked it to my stream elements profile

If yes, please go to the top menu - StreamElements - Logout

then log back in and check again
