So I use Streamelements and obs studio to stream to facebook live, my stream just shut down mid game, and when i try to restart the stream it says invalid path or connection URL. i tried re pasting the stream key and even changing the key and then repasting it but it still wont work, if i change the stream service from custom to Facebook live, it will stream out if i go to facebook and click Go Live and put the title and all that, but i should be able to just type it all into streamelements and start the stream straight from OBS

i also uninstalled and reinstalled Streamelements itself with no change

its hard to save where the connection issue lies | isp,facebook,obs | the process of elimination would be to try the facebook connection instead of custom to see if the stream last | if not then there's a deeper problem isp or the software | if it does stay connected with facebook login then its on the facebook server side thats dropping

If a tip does not appear in the activity feed, I'm going to guess it was sent through PayPal, and in that case that's due to PayPal holding the tip for one reason or another. If they do not send us a confirmation of successful tip, then your account is not populated, and no alert plays.

The issue you're seeing is because you logged into your Facebook account separately before you attempted to add it to an existing account.

Therefore, it has its own separate account.

Ok. So after hitting yet another CPU ceiling with ndi last night. If I capture vdjs visuals directly via newtek scan converter, I can overlay one source with alpha. If I capture the brio and stream elements overlay, and send "vmix output" in argb, these can be sent at 720 instead of the full, cutting the processing power in half, and achieving the same image (my camera is portrait). Potential problems... There are a couple videos going by that scan converter straight loses its ess. Also, this may complicate audio routing for reasons no one wants to hear about

I streamed directly from the dashboard before and I was even able to schedule a broadcast. Now my problem is I created a new scene for the holidays and logged into streamlabs using my facebook account. When I go to test the live function in my creators dashboard the box is not highlighted. I streamed from facebooks dashboard using the test feature. I started the stream via obs live but had facebook dashboard settings enabled to test it. Currently when I go live from obs live the stream starts but its not showing a preview or stats from the facebook dashboard. I only receive performance stats from the obs live. I have no issues with testing alerts. It's just getting the stream to work for facebook. I've even tried using different stream keys to see if that would solve the issue. Ive even restarted my pc and no luck.

Hello! I have just moved to Facebook from Twitch. I logged onto mine Streamelements account (by Twitch) and then added new channel - Facebook one. I noticed that those appearing in system as a separate positions with different tipping pages.
My questions are:

1. Is there somehow option to merge on one profile tipping history of all profiles? (tipping on twitch donation page is not appearing on facebook alerts).
2. I created new facebook page but there I just have only PayPal payment options - I used to have g2a Pay and SE Pay options on Twitch channel page. How to turn on this options?

To answer your questions, no, there is no way to merge the tipping history between channels. Channels are kept entirely separate in our system and don't share any data.
As for payment options, can you DM me your account ID from https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/channels while logged in with your Facebook account?

Delay has nothing to do with your settings, it's all about your connection to their ingest servers and their server's capabilities.

Cleaning up the picture, however, is all to do with your quality settings.

You could also run a https://www.speedtest.net/ to determine if you have the correct bitrate for your internet connection

you are streaming 1080 @ 4k, thats low

1. 100mbps is your download, you want your upload for streaming
2. find what facebooks max stream speed is and set it to that if its within your bandwidth
3. please note that anyone else using the internet will have some impact
4. speed test shows your total upload, not the constant high rate that is required for streaming.
5. try changing your encoder to NVENC (new), and turn off pyscho_visual tuning and look_ahead in the settings

well here's my question.... there is a theme called COD: WW2 D-Day that I transferred from my Twitch channel to my Facebook Gaming channel but the alert box didn't transfer. I kind of made it work but only for a few alerts because Twitch alerts and FB alerts are a tad different.
