Either your bitrate is too low, or your encoder settings need to change

If you're changing them from the default, yes, you need to either edit every alertbox in every overlay, or edit one, copy it over to other overlays, position it, and delete the old ones.

So i don't know if it's my elgato or if it's OBS. I connect my elgato, it shows in OBS and seconds after video capture source freezes and then turns black. It does - if you convert it from a .mov or w/e other movie/video type file you have to a .webm

as .webm is a video type file

Team, good morning and question for all of you. Does Stream Elements allow you to to adjust overlay border colors? OBS Discord recommended I reach out here to see if Stream Elements had a solution. I picked up an animated overlay from Own3d and their tutorial indicated to add a color correction filter in OBS. It worked for one scene but I can't replicate on other scenes. Thank you.

I am hearing a duplicated audio when using the MediaRequest widget's video player (I e. 'show on stream.' If I hide the video (uncheck 'show on stream'), the duplicated audio disappears. Any ideas? Thank you all!

The sounds aren't playing in my regular browser either, so it seems to me like there's something wrong with the overlay itself. 2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.

(Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+)

I have an issue with obs

In the stream starting scene in obs i have a song that plays when the stream starts. i have set it to monitor only and that goes to my goxlr and in turn the people watching can hear it. i am doing the same thing with my stream ending scene but for some reason that doesnt work. i have to set monitoring off and then on again for the song to work. any ideas?

OBS has done that exact thing to me before, just had to toss it out. It's a fickle mistress sometimes haha

I ended up just setting it to monitor and output and that fixed it for me, albeit that's less of an option for everyone

So i setup some sound alerts that users in chat can trigger using !command. The sounds used to work on my stream, but now whenever someone does one of my commands it doesn't play a sound. I followed the thread linked at the end of this message, by setting it up through the stream store and all my sounds are redeemable with 0 points. @deep flicker Dropped Frames usually means that you have a bad connection with the streaming service(Twitch/Youtube/Mixer/Facebook) and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Hey All - I'm brand new to this and have what I assume is a quick question and just me being an idiot. I'm trying to start a stream to RTMP server. i change the setting in OBS to point to custom rtmp. But then when I hit start stream it automatically goes to youtube. I've tried changing profiles, setting it diffeent ways etc. When I first tried I got a window that said "Stream to youtube...." I clicked never show again - and now I'm stuck going to youtube with no way to change it.

Hello! How long will it take to introduce OBS live for Mac? I’ve been in the forum with hundreds of other streamers voting for this and backing it up. We do not want to be restricted to windows. I have used OBS live on windows before switching systems and it is very fool proof and so much easier than stream labs.

This might be long, and I am sorry. Is there an issue with the media request controls for the stream deck and Mixer? I have OBS up and OSB.live started and running. I can control the media request from Ground Control, so it is working. But when I launch stream deck and look at my buttons, I get this. Tell me I am missing something, and it is a simple fix. I uninstalled and reinstalled OBS with Streamelements 3 times today. Now, the Streamelements panels in OBS are now doubling up if I scroll over them. I went to the OBS discord to ask and they said it was the plug in and to ask here.

My stream perks don't seem to make any audio on my OBS.

I have them set up in stream store correctly, and they play audio when I'm in "edit" mode on my overlays.

Why don't they play on my OBS.Live?

Far as I can tell, I didn't change any settings in OBS. Again, it does play on the web-based editor for my overlay(s), but doesn't play while I'm streaming.

Sounds seem to work OK, but stream perks do not. They fire and I see them in chat, but no alert and no audio.

its because your overlays are set to remain silent

just like if you throw a video in the OBS

u will not hear anything from the video until u enable sound reverse

in the video options, just like the web-source in OBS have one option too

but in web config we have a check box for audio return try marking this and test it out

when u check this it sohuld create a new track in OBS audio deck

click here, open last option (probably called advanced preferences)

here u can choose to hear from the web-source or hear&stream (if u choose to only u hear, your viewers wont)

btw even if that works i recommend doin a fresh install, as i don't (and cant right now) test if it should stream and hear the alert sounds auto' when firsttouch the SEOBS

I'd like to change my bots name but I'm not seeing a place in OBS, and under the Stream Elements tab is still shows set up bot/tipping

I'd also like to start moving some quotes over, but I'm not sure where Streamlabs hosts them.
