Also @elfin blaze if you have a RTX card in the streaming rig you could always Nvenc that bish 🙂 medium quality with 0 hit to anything pretty much leaving your CPU to render what’s not done via the GPU which will also help

Meaning you can also run more fancy stuff, Overlays etc

just remember if you have a stream deck / touch portal to run them as admin as well with OBS as if you have any scripts running they won’t work between the admin and non admin sandbox

a Dynamic mic will result in better audio isolation, but remember a mic is only as good as its mixer, a mixer can change how a microphone sounds massively @rugged quail you could have a $50 mixer and the audio sound like ass from a really good mic... balance the purchase accordingly.

hello! i'm just setting up my twitch account, and i initially thought i had settled on a name (so i made all of my scenes, logged onto streamelements via obs live to pair the program with donations and chat and activity, etc). i changed my mind though on a name! so i made a new account. i feel ridiculously stupid but now obs live won't let me log out of the initial account i made to log into the new one to match the new stream. when i press sign out in the manage widgets menu and then go to sign back in, it just auto logs me back in to the initial account. if anyone has any guidance please let me know. i've fussed with reinstalling and it works fine in browser, but i just can't seem to figure out how to log out in the application.

It would mean that with the current internet connection you have, which seems to be not be stable at all

you can most likely get a stable connection at those speeds

but if you are saying its dropping down to 400kbps

then that means your internet as whole might not be stable enough

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

add a noise suppressor or use an expander and adjust the ratio

Text scrolling is enabled in the overlay editor for both widgets, it's saved and shows the text scrolling in the editor itself.

Though the browser source has static text for the widgets.

I've tried disabling text scrolling and reenabling, to no avail.

solved: editing using the overlay editor built into obslive saves as "text scrolling" but doesn't enable it in the source.
I went back to the in-browser overlay editor in Firefox and it worked straight away.

And now it doesn't work again

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Submitting a closure request you will delete all linked accounts and loose all data from all accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh. Deletions are done manually.

Please understand that every setup will be very different.

Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.

You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.

Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

5) navigate to the Console tab
6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name
8) remove the added addition of step 1

ok this is something that i am struggling with for a really long time, I have a very specific streaming setup where I use GOXLR and where I split all my sound up in separate sliders. This gives me the possibility to have full control to what happens with my sound during my stream. Sadly I can seem to split off the OBS Live sound from the Media sound not even when I use Ground control it seems to use the source of OBS I really do not get why this is over looked somehow.

so my question is there another option to fix this without me having to rethink my entire setup yet ones again?

The media sound is heard via the overlay widget. You can create an overlay only with the Media Request widget and let OBS control the audio in the browser source settings, to get a new audio line in OBS.

I dont think you understand what is happening here the sound of the media and ground control are both creating their own sound source on the same channels, these sound sources pop up directly in my windows 10 media and if I turn off the ground control the music will still play but trough my system sound source which is the default sound source on my pc. If i turn that one off my overlay widget notfications will be turned off

so i have now 4 sound sources which i can manipulate individually and even remove them from scenes where they are not needed
