Make sure you:
- have teh bot added to your channel and modded
- have the default command "!emotes" enabled
- use the command
!emotes updatein your chat - reload the overlays
- make sure the emotes are listed and enabled in the Kappagen settings

I'm wondering if I could get some help. I used to use streamelements when I first started streaming. I actually prefer it. But, I've been using Streamlabs for the last 6 mos or more. I essentially have my alerts and everything set up the way I want it. I multistream to mixer, twitch, youtube, and facebook via Mobcrush. The only reason I went to Streamlabs was because there was no Mixer support for Streamelements. How do I migrate it all? I'm an older gamer (49) lol and it took me forever to get this all set up. I still miss comments and chat alerts from Facebook. Yes. All channels are entirely separate in StreamElements.
Merging channels allows you to copy overlay designs between them.
Data is kept 100% separate.
Tip links are separate.
Your Twitch channel is your Twitch channel and has its own overlays, tipping page, etc.
Your YouTube channel is your YouTube channel and has its own overlays, tipping page, etc.
They do not share anything.
The onboarding will appear every time you log in. If you've set up everything it's talking about, the "do it later" button will skip past.

We're not Streamlabs and can't recommend using the fork of OBS they made, for a number of reasons, least of which if something goes wrong we can't troubleshoot it.
Instead, we recommend using OBS Studio, which we've made a plugin for, called OBS.Live. So it's still OBS Studio, just with more features.

I hope someone can help cause im feeling rather derpy over this cause im not sure if its the plug in or twitch, ive installed the OBS.Live plug in for obs.. and its not letting me connect my twitch account even though the password is right >.< am i being a complete derp and forget to restart after installing or would that not be an issue?

If it's not accepting your password, then you'll need to double check you're typing it correctly. It's a direct Twitch login; you're redirected to Twitch to log in, and then it comes back to our stuff.

Hey guys, so I was having issues with streaming to Twitch because every time I try, it lags my game HARD. FPS drops down from 60 to around 30-35 and lags hard. Now, it is doing it to Mixer too. OK, so here is what comes to mind:
- Streamelements -> report an issue
- make sure you include my name, your IP, time and timezone and basically what you did to get this issue.
I will poke the devs to take a look at the report card
After doing that either get our installer from here: https://obs.live - uninstall obs.live and obs studio and use our installer to get 24.0.2 or only remove OBS.live and obs studio and do a fresh install of 25.0.0
Usually since its a new version of OBS Studio, there will be issues between OBS Studio and OBS.Live(our plugin) until the OBS guys push out a patch or two and we can push a stable version as well

Have a question about my OBS system. I thought it was my internet crashing, but every time I stream for longer than an hour, my system disconnects on me. I'm trying to stream now and it's disconnected several times in half an hour. It seems to have calmed down now, but I don't want this kind of problem in the future. @tawdry bridge You have two variations looking at the same parameter, so when it takes place, it'll randomly play one or the other. Better to have one variation per type of sub if you want consistency.

Trust me... I tried so many when the game come out... Because I had a fps issues and sometimes I dropped to 50 fps when I was zooming on top of a building... And yeah... Everything on low except textures that are on high... Works fine now

Can anyone help me with OBS on a laptop? I've got a Dell XPS and I can't get window capture to work (although display capture does work). I have made sure that the window (chrome) is opened using the same graphics card as OBS, and I have disabled hardware acceleration in Chrome. Still can't get it to work

@bright summit It's a video file, as part of the theme. Unless you have your own video file with a different icon in the same exact style and animation, there's not much you can do aside from completely remove it.

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.
(Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+)

@quick blade Your log did not have an output session and is not showing everything it could. That is why I triggered the command.
@green heron Please read the bot response. All overlays in StreamElements default to 1920x1080, and you should put that into the browser source properties. You can then use Ctrl+F to fit it to your canvas.

I'm not sure what else I can do, but earlier, when I was spammed an answer about laptops and windows out of date, particularly when I have streamed on this laptop for almost a year and never once had an issue until tonight makes me think there is more to the issue than just CPU/GPU

@quick blade There's a 50/50 chance it's an issue with OBS 25.0.1 as their Discord is likewise receiving several reports of connection issues. A clean log with an output session will help me verify whether it is due to something else before I send you their way.

@rugged quail You know, I did have the same error when I updated the other day. After an attempt or two, Retry worked for me. Give it a shot, wait a sec, try it again. Give it a few attempts, and then restart your computer if it's still not cooperating to ensure the file isn't still in use.
