2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.

My OBS sometimes crashes, it's not super often, but I'm wondering is its normal. I stream everyday and maybe like one or twice a week it happens, sometimes it's random and other times it seems to be related to adding and removing captures when I'm live.
I figured it was normal since I've seen obs crash for other streamers randomly from time to time, but figured it was work asking about

Sometimes my Overlays are messed up (missing graphics) and the reload Overlay button wasn't working, was fine last week. Does the reload overlay button only work when you're not steaming now? I used to be able todo it when streaming but the past two days it has not been working.

what do you want to know about the sources?

the basic ones you are going to need are: video input capture, browser source and windows capture

that gets you a camera, gameplay and overlay for output

if you add it like Support AI states above and set the right dimensions, it should all be there

you can also drag sources around, so dont have the browser source hidden under the gameplay!

Hi, my widgets just stopped working. I was able to test them for about 30 minutes on OBS.LIVE but now they don't show up. I tested the URL by adding other things like photos, 2nd capture screens. Those all work. It's just my widgets that don't now. I made new widgets and premade ones, none work. If you have any ideas/suggestions please let me know.

5) navigate to the Console tab
6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name

In the easy settings you can choose between x264 and nvidia. If you have the new available it will automatically choose the new one, otherwise fall back to the old one.

Ahhhhh I didn’t see this tab. I was looking for a Help with StreamElements tab. Lol. My bad. So I have an issue with ReStream through OBS. I have updated the latest update, then put in where I want it to go ......ReStream.io RTMP.....and go live. Nothing (gameplay) shows up on my Mixer or my FB page. Just a picture of me. Lol. I have all accounts attached and ReStream says it’s something on SE side. I sent SE a message, haven’t heard back yet. Can anyone here help with this ?

Hi, I'm trying to add media share, I've added the widget to my main overlay. Why do I have to have the media share page open for this to work? It actually doubles the audio having it open (as it plays in the web browser and OBS). If I close media share in the browser it stops in OBS. Likewise, if I use ground control, it doesn't link properly to my token (I've reset this multiple times). Any help will be very appreciated.

I just turned off my SE_gaming source off and it's playing just in ground control. As soon as I turn on the source, it's doubled. I don't think it should be this way.

Because it might be an issue with your connected accounts on restream if you can stream to the platforms separately

but you would add your headset as an audio output and your mic as an audio input

That will make sure you only have an audio input/output for each source you're using. When you add your overlays make sure you don't check the box I pointed at earlier

I know people who have tried restream, but the problem lies in the inability to focus on a specific group of viewers. Restream is great if you have a broadcast-level setup, but terrible as an individual. I’d recommend streaming to a different platform on different days, which will let you build a more diverse audience

Like when EVGA does their weekly stream it’s great for them to use restream because they’re trying to reach an already established audience on each platform their users engage the company on.

Anyone here know how to set up audio so I don’t have issues in OBS with mixer? I am using an Xbox one x, elgato capture card hd60, blue yeti mic, and steel series arctis 7 that is wireless but only works for Xbox plugged into the controller. I always get reverb or echo ALWAYS. I just can’t figure it out. I want to be able to play multiplayer with a headset but also use my mic as the main audio input source so that it sounds better than a headset. Any help is appreciated. If you can’t, does anyone have a link to OBS discord and I can ask there. Thank you guys. Little things like this fixed would make the stream 10x better.

To Use Blue Yeti (with Xbox One)
Xbox headset adapter with input for mic/headphone 3.5 mm (plugs into the controller, controls volume/mute)
A 3.5mm Mic/Headphone splitter
A 3.5mm Male to Male cable
Take the 3.5mm Male to male cable and plug one end into your blue yeti's headphone slot, (make sure the headphone volume is up so you can be heard) Plug the other end of the cable into the Mic/Headphone splitter on the mic side. You can plug in a headphone as well here. Plug the Mic/headphone splitter into the Xbox headset adapter on your controller. Voila!! That should be it. When you talk on the yeti, the audio will be run right into your controller as if it were a mic on a headset.

Hey all! I'm having issues trying to connect to Facebook Live and when it does connect it dropes frames really bad. I went through all of the steps KeiZar listed and it seems like something much bigger. Maybe something to do with not having an RTMPS option ??

I see that your IP is binded, is that something you did manually for some reason?

"Binding to a manually chosen IP address is rarely needed. Go to Settings → Advanced → Network and set "Bind to IP" back to "Default"."

it won't allow me to connect to Facebook at all to view the incoming transmission of video on the dash before I go live on the Facebook dash. This is normally how I do it. When it did connect me, (When I binded to a specific IP) it was dropping 65% frames and 0 kb/s

I run a pretty good computer with 1gig internet speeds. I've been doing this for a while now. Something is just not right this past couple updates. Could it have to do with Facebook and the RTMPS servers now?

Dropped frames usually means there is an issue with your ISP and the connection to the server you are trying to stream

Dropped Frames usually means that you have a bad connection with the streaming service(Twitch/Youtube/Mixer/Facebook) and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

I am currently having an issue with OBS and StreamElements Alerts, I deleted them and re-created a new overlay through SE, now when put them into a browser source they do not work at all, I've tried pre-built ones, custom etc and when click follow there just not displaying, may I ask does anyone know the fix?

It works in launcher of SE, but not on OBS.

My desktop audio isn't reacting at all in obslive, I have checked so that the settings match with what I'm using and I've made sure to reinstall the software just in case.

It depends. If your webcam is a few seconds behind your audio you’ll need to add an async filter to your webcam to adjust the delay iirc

If the stream delay is between what you say and when it’s said on your stream, that’s normal due to the delay the ingest servers have for processing your stream

And running through restream will introduce more latency because you’re sending it to one service which then has to process and transmit to two or three platforms

Because you reset your token. You should not do that unless advised.

You now need to recopy all of your overlay links, as they've changed.

@versed pagoda Due to a recent change from Twitch API, these features are affected by the change:

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

I have the same as you hero, they were working before the update now when testing alerts nothing shows up in the obs window
