@robust stream not sure if you got the issue resolved, but if trying to install from the StreamDeck didn't work, try this:

• Open %appdata%\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins
• Delete the com.streamelements.obslive.sd plugin folder
• Try installing again

but after I install streamelements it doesn't capture any screen
I tried capture directly a specific windows and it works just with google chrome but other windows doesn't works like xbox console Companion

Hello, I'm having issues with my Stream Elements OBS.live not connecting or working with my stream deck it worked in the past until a recent update. So I've been using normal OBS studio. The widgets called Media Request and is needed for the videos to show on stream

Your scenes will have to be rebuilt in SE there's a tool to import donations from SL to SE but yes you will need to rebuild essentially StreamLabs has a tendancy to block SE links as we are there competition after all. (Not sure if they reverted that change but i know they have blocked SE in the past on there platforms).

Checked my Nvidia control panel and the GeForce game drivers, everything says its up to date. I did some research and someone said to change the Encoder, I did and it works but the video quality is terrible with h.264, I'm really confused on why my normal encoder randomly stopped working

My viewers are a big fan of my custom bot named after my dog. However, the feature doesn't seem to work anymore. Ground Control used to be my last resort fix but it doesn't seem to be available on there anymore either. Is the custom bot name no longer a feature?

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

When i open up OBS live and have a game im streaming on screen it is not showing the events popping up over the top of the game. I can hear the event bell and the sound of the alert but cannot view it. How do I get the alerts to pop up over the game im playing?

Hi i mentioned a couple of days ago and i have seen in messages posted above that people are still having issues with the elgato stream elements live OBS plugin. i have followed all steps in the messages above reinstalled pretty much every app and program associated with the the stream deck/ obs live etc. I have looked for the plugin file to delete (but it was not there) as suggested above but still the plugin will not install or work. Any other suggestions would be great as i use this plugin a lot. All apps are up to date.

Hey there. Been using SE Ground Control for media requests with MonsterCat backup playlist. Initially it was working fine but has started randomly ignoring song requests. Still plays backup but only sometimes takes the song requests. Any ideas how to get it back on track?

Ground Control itself doesn't "take" the request, it only manages them.

Is the request getting a response from the bot?

Good point. No, when the stream elements bot shows the track, it plays. But all the tunes that don’t play don’t get a bot reply. (Pretty sure might need to confirm).

Please understand that every setup, will be very different.
Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.
Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having, but not a list of settings.

I updated OBS live the other day and since then my MIC inputs haven't worked for streaming. I can sometimes* get them to work when I record but not ever when I'm trying to stream live. @rancid badger last version of OBS.live/Streamdeck app have different weird issues

the problem appears to be something related to a false positive of the obs plugin being detected as a virus by antiviruses/security software/permissions. Some people solved it by just updating their streamdeck

some people solved it deleting the directory that you didn't find

some people solved it by reinstalling the Streamdeck app and running it in administrator mode

and then installing the plugin

Someone mentioned they received an update to their stream app deck on the same day this was happening (about 3-4 days ago) and that solved it

Also, make sure you are accessing the right directory, as sometimes the directory where the OBS plugin is installed is under a different user

Is there a way on stream elements obs to record only certain layers? I knew how to do it through streamlabs obs, however I much prefer streamelements, I just want to be able to stream with a webcam/alerts and have it recorded for editing without those. If it's not in your activity feed or revenue history, then PayPal is not sending us a confirmation. Which means it is being held for some reason. Usually because someone didn't finish completely setting up their PayPal account, or some other reason.

We're a passthrough service. We send you to PayPal, they do their thing, and if they send back "yeah it's all good," then it appears in your account and plays an alert.

We're not involved in the transaction.

If I run multiple channels and want to log out of steamlabs site on one and into the other, it seems to auto-remember my login when I click "Connect with Twitch" after I have logged out, putting me straight back into the same account. Is there a way I can 'switch' to a different account somehow?

I want to switch from stream labs to stream elements, but there's this weird glitch that keeps happening with stream elements on my second monitor. the activity feed, chat, and media request windows all sort of bug out. Doesn't matter if I have them windowed or pinned to the app. I don't even know what to google to find a remedy. This doesn't happen on my main monitor, but it does on my second.
