Hye! Just bought 2 Rhode microphones and a mixer for it. Works great until I opened StreamElements OBS, whenever I add the mixer as an audio source it only picks up one of the microphones. I would like to have one for the right and one for the left but at the moment OBS just picks up the left on. The right one still gives a signal on the mixer but not on streamelements. Any fixes for this?

Afternoon all. I am trying to use a .webm in my overlay, but it keeps disappearing after 3-5 seconds. In the editor it would turn off if i have the loop box checked. So unchecked it stays in the editor but in the live scene it turns off. I have tried live with the box checked and unchecked. In regular OBS Studio i just checked the loop box. Any ideas why?

we know its working partially because obs detects the usb and you can get channel 1

@rugged quail its best to use a custom transition as having things fully loaded from the transition is pretty demanding as you will need to have everything constantly on
the custom transition you can tell it to change scene either frames or seconds after changing scenes

So, I'm trying to use my Samsung Galaxy S9 as a webcam using the Browser source on OBS.Live. I cannot, however, get what's on my screen to display on OBS.
This issue is with the Streamlabs App, IP Webcam app, and a few others. They all just show as blank after putting in the connection URL on a Browser source under a brand-new Scene.

Hey guys, my obs.live is throwing a wobbly. It appears it's no longer connected to my Facebook account, when I go to log in, I log in through Facebook and it just takes me to my feed. No prompt to reconnect or anything like that. Any suggestions? Essentially I've lost the chat and notification windows in obs

@elfin silo Did you add the overlay at 1920x1080 in the browser source properties like the bot message indicated? You have the widget in the top right of the overlay, so if you left it at the default 800x600 it won't appear. Probably why you hear the sound.

I've been trouble shooting with OBS all day and just now switched to stream elements in hopes that my current issue would go away. Those I found that I had the exact same issue. Window capture, game capture, and display capture are not working at all. Nothing shows up. I was able to get minecraft working on the other program I was using earlier, have not tried it with stream elements yet. I don't know why that game works but nothing else does.

In the past when trying to use game capture for stuff like osu I would make SLOBS launch with integrated graphics. That didn't help today and again no applications appear in game or window capture. Same issue here with streamelements.

Like for streaming / OBS in general, there are no best settings. It's up to your personal preference.
The settings above fit my voice, my mic and general audio the best. Testing, testing and more testing is required. Took me a few days to find the "best settings" for my setup. YMMV

So im going make new test which it will be start obs as admin - start streaming - start csgo game - play for 1minute with settings like High and V-Sync on and then we will see what it will do

Can anyone please confirm that triggering an" emulated event on stream" (via the bell icon) on the stream elements website, should also show up in OBS when the Web Source is added. I could swear I've seen it work this way in the past, but now I don't have anything showing. How otherwise do we test alerts in OBS? cheers.

Just rebooted PC. Brought OBS Live up and Media request is a blue box with nothing in it. The chrome page for songrequest still works. I have docked and undocked it and still just a blue box.

hello so i think i have a fairly simple problem but i cant seem to fix it. everytime i try to stream, no matter how many time i change my stream settings it always trys to stream to facebook. even when i apply and save my changes everytime i hit "start streaming" it always trys totream on facebook and my settings revert back to facebook.

More than likely have to log out & sign in with Twitch if you're logged into OBS.Live via FaceBook.

ok i solved it by deleting cache, file system, and local system folder in %APPDATA%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser just in case the problem should arise for others. 🙂

hi there. i have a problem whit obs.live... it crashes every day, even when I am not streaming. Sometimes it crashes after 15 minutes and sometimes it crashes after 2 hours... Can anyone help?

well I don't even know when it crashes. Today I've opened OBS and wanted to test some overlays and it just crashed.. Didn't even touched obs, I was on stream elements website.
yesterday i was streaming and after 2 hours of playing, closed the game and wanted to do some graphic design, and it crashed.. i can't find a reason why it crashes

i tried to open the same apps (adobe illustrator) and made exactly the same things, and it worked...
today i wasn't streaming and just opened obs, left it sit there, and after a few minutes, crashed.. I was just browsing web on chrome

none doesnt mean no transition, it means no override. my misunderstanding
i guess the last question i have is a feature request for ctrl+z support in streamelements obs. is that more of an obs request than streamelements?

- this log shows you have made many change to your encoding stream setting, none of which are consistent.
it will be best to make the settings you stream with and then do another log for a more accurate report

Any computer, no matter how powerful, can be overloaded if you push it too hard.

i would recomend going back to the nvenc (new) encoder with a 6K bitrate and turn off psycho_visual tuning
we can then go from there if you still have issues

is there a way to use media request and not have it recorded on the final set. i like the music but in the end, some of the music gets taken out and messes up my stream, or should i just use a different music service and not allow my viewers to request songs?

you shouldnt be able to hear the desktop audio through obs by default as it picks up everything from your pc.
if you do want to hear it through obs then set it to monitor and output in advanced audio.
if theres nothing coming into obs check your sound settings in windows control panel, they should both be set to the same device (headset)

I think there is a bug with obs.live i got the audio issue again, where the desktop and mic audio get jacked up and then it sounds like a robot stream. Here is the log file I removed the recording part from it.
