Hey greetings, got a problem now with the new update.

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)

After all this stuff, the Twitch STatistics and Stream Name Change Menu are gone.

Hi there, not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but is taking up about 20-30% of my CPU and all of my RAM when I'm not even doing anything crazy whatsoever, even when I'm not streaming or recording. I talked the nice people at OBS and troubleshooted the issue and we learned it's OBS.live causing the issue.

@daring geyser The software you stream with has absolutely zero bearing on who can watch in what browser. That's entirely in Twitch hands at that point, and you (or your viewers, really) should reach out to their support if your viewers can't watch your stream on certain browsers.

hi there im experiencing an issue with browser overlays on obs. For some reason they are showing black screen instead of loading as they normally do. the overlays still work on my other computer it just seems to be a problem with my laptop. if it helps, when i have the add browser source screen open the default link that autofills in the url space (https://obsproject.com/browser-source) doesnt show a preview at all and normally it does on my other computer. I was able to add broswer sources from stream elements just fine on my laptop before but one day i just logged in and they would no longer load.

Why do you need to recreate your overlays? Logging out and back in with the StreamElements menu doesn't affect them.

If you want to have the stream hear it but not you, that takes a level of audio mixer finesse that is beyond my expertise.

What do I need to copy from the gaming PC to the streaming PC in order to have all of my scenes/sources etc... already done so I don't have to re-create them all over again?

Well, if you have most of your assets in StreamElements overlays it's just a matter of using the URLs in browser sources. Made much easier if you export a scene collection.

If you've still got some assets on your computer, you'll need to grab those too.

This is actually a situation where our cloud-based system really shines.

I was having constant crashing even using my i9-9900k processor and an RTX 2060 when using SLOBS, but zero crashes with OBS.Live. @rugged quail With voicemeter you can exclude sounds going towards your headphones and only towards your stream.

I've done it my self, but the side effect is this: OBS.Live is not updated for OBS 24.0.X - when you get OBS.Live on obs 24, you actually break the new feature that obs studio has - the new audio channels coming from browser sources.

We intend to update obs.live to obs 24.0.X but it will take a bit of time.

So the actual side effect is, if you exclude the MR dock from OBS in voicemeter, you are essentially excluding the alert sound as well, unfortunately.

if you have a custom overlay design, you can actually upload it to your StreamElements library

Click Library in the top of the editor and you can upload the graphics there, and then add them as a layer to your editor

Then you can position and size everything within the editor and it will all reflect in OBS correctly as long as the browser source is 1920 x 1080

You just need to click the "Insert Image" or "Insert Video" depending on what type of graphic you're using and it will drop it right into the editor

You will want to make sure that your labels are above the image/video layer so they are displayed on the overlay. It's similar to photoshop that whatever layers are on the bottom will be obscured by the layers on top

Pretty sure the OBS dock chat still has the "set font" or "set font size" option to control the chat size

If you're using the "default device" for your audio, unless you specifically change the audio input in Windows it won't affect when you add a webcam

Like in the Logitech webcam app the video quality is good and it’s a nice brightly lit scene (which is how it is irl) but in OBS my webcam looks like I’m in a dark room

@thin raven you can add alerts in your overlay editor by adding the "alert box" widget to your overlay. Adding a stinger transition: go to you scenetransitions. click on add -> select stinger -> set up everything else

• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• OBS.Live or Ground Control open
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use or run the bot under your own name
• Custom bot name doesn't work on Mac

well, can't the widget rotate not only sub, but follows, hosts

as in, all together, at random

or do I just have to pick 1 and go with it
