OBS.Live is a plugin for OBS Studio and doesn't change or affect the behavior of video capture sources. Video capture sources are still a part of the core OBS Studio functionality. You're better off asking the volunteers in the OBS Project Discord, as they'll have a better understanding of the quirks that can come up with different cameras.

Does anyone know of a common reason why OBS.Live can't update from OBS? I've never had it work (always had to re-download the plugin from the SE website to update)

The OBS updater works just fine though and I've never set any restrictions on the plugin from a firewall

but most likely something is blocking it and its blocking it really hard

maybe your router doesn't like the updater

CoreAudio is a Mac thing. Unless you are streaming on macOS, then you don't need CoreAudio

your problem is with the FFmpeg aac audio encoder. So either you have a setting conflict between your sources, or something else is wrong. The best place for support with your issue would be the OBS Discord

posting your log again is not really going to change the fact that the issue is not related to the OBS.Live plugin, and we can't really help with the audio issue. If you are having the problem between certain scenes, start by removing sources that use audio until you find the problem source. That is pretty much all I can suggest at this point

@eager barn if you're showing the total amount of followers you have as the current progress, you can use the Total Followers widget and just add the string /<goal> on the text of the widget, so it would look like a goal widget

So it'll end up looking like Followers goal: 150/200

this widget does update to your accurate total followers at the end of every stream, even if you lose followers.

I plan on giving a buddy editor access to turn things on and off for me from his end, but when i try it and watch on obs.live the scene blinks off to a black screen before coming back with whatever was turned on or off. @twilit marten if you create a new Profile from the Profiles menu, you can switch profiles and streaming platforms really quickly. I have a profile for Twitch, a profile for my Extra Life channel, a profile for my daughter's YouTube channel, and a profile for Mixer. Each one has a corresponding scene collection to go with the profile. Once you create a new profile, simply authenticate to your streaming service the same way you do when you originally set up OBS and you're good to go.

Hello! I am attempting to stream pubg and gears 5 from OBS.live. I've been streaming for a good while and I don't have a problem with other games I play like krunker, resident evil 2 remake, and a little while back, black ops 4. I am running an MSI GTX 1070ti platinum, an i-5 6600k, 16gb of ddr4 3000MHz ram, and I am outputting to 720p60. I was experiencing the encoder overload message, but didn't when i switched from NVENC H.264 (new) to the normal NVENC H.264. I see my frames on OBS fluctuate between like 20-60 with either setting, and the gameplay and my webcam just looks super choppy. Other people I know don't have a problem streaming the games, with a less powerful gpu, using the same encoder. Hopefully somebody can help. Thank you

But as your uptime command is giving a time, you are also online with streamelements. This seems to be an error that you are shown as offline in the dashboard.

@reef anchor StreamElements does not have multistreaming/restream support.
You can add both alert boxes and widgets for both platforms to your obs sources but we cannot support that.
The accounts for the platforms you are streaming to are always independent.

@foggy girder You will need to setup 2 overlays for the 2 different games, each overlay having its own graphics. Only when you switch scenes the overlays will change, depending on how you've setup the overlays within OBS Scenes.

Hi. I've been trying to stream Borderlands 3 but, despite the game getting consistent FPS at the 60s and 70s, I'm lucky if the stream hits above 30. The CPU shows at the low tens of usage and I see no performance issues otherwise. This is the first time I've been getting this. This is a single PC setup.
I just tried switching servers and I see that I'm getting problems on the FTL server but not on the RTMP server. What is the difference exactly?

I have an issue with the activity feed on Stream Elements. When i get a new activity (follower, sub, raid etc...) it shows on my Twitch Dashboard but it does not show on my activity feed in Stream Elements. I have tried part from channel and relogging etc but still it does not work. I believe it is only a problem with this Twitch account as I tested it on a new account i created and it worked with out any problems. I have even tried closing the account and re registering the account on Stream Elements several times and still there is a problem. Anyone had the same issue before and have managed to fix it ?

i have lost all my overlay setting by closing the account and reopening it therefore i will wait till there is a fix before i do my overlays again i think
