Hey, I have both OBS and StreamElements OBS.
When I try to add any image capturing method, it just captures a black solid color. This only happens with StreamElements and another OBS streaming client, not with normal.
I use a laptop, and I've tried running as admin, changing the default graphic processor, also changing to Windows 7 compatibility mode (everything I found on the Internet).
Any idea about how to fix this?

Laptops need extra setup to use Display Capture.
Due to the way laptops are designed, OBS must run on the Integrated GPU to use Display Capture. This process effectively disables Game Capture and Window Capture. @rugged quail May need to log out and back in, this tends to be caused by two-factor authentication on your Twitch account from what I can tell. In regards to the import, check that you're running OBS in administrator mode and make sure your overlays don't include any default alerts from other services as these are copyrighted and can't be imported

- Restart router for like 5-10 minutes - as in unplug the router from the power for 5-10 minutes
- call your ISP and see if you can get either better speed or some troubleshooting from their side on the low upload
its best to explain to the ISP over phone what exactly you are doing and what happens

i tried to split the audio devices with my virtual audio cables to maybe get it fixed but if i use any other device that my main device (with ts, discord, games, overlay, notifications, etc.) its muted. i created a audio device (audio Cable B) with spotify microphone and overlay+sound and everything works fine. just no notifications. if i switch back to main device its doubled again 😭

For some reason when i use OBSLIVE every time i restart it i need to disconnect and connect my twitch account in the OBS settings to get the docks back with twitch stats, twitch information and such.. Seems like a OBSLIVE problem as i does not happen if i switch to OBS studio.

What do you mean by "launch?"
By default it should appear docked and ready when you open OBS.Live.

- Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live ( 19.7.14.421 )
- exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
- delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
- start OBS.Live
- Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

ok, so i think i'm having issues specifically with the Media request...plugin?
basically - right now i have to click "launch media request", click the "dock media request" button to get it back where it belongs. What I want to happen is have Media request running right away, without having to do the dance to get it running, if that makes sense

Hello everyone! Since some time now I have problems with OBS Live. Not sure what caused it, as I haven't changed much. Only thing I changed was:
- upgraded to the newest Nvidia graphic driver
- upgraded to the newest OBS Live version.
Now the problem I encounter is that when I play a game OBS states: 'Video Encoder Overloaded' which causes my stream to start lagging, camera becomes slow and out of sync. Game is unplayable because it's so slow.
Now what I tried: Changed a few settings in OBS and downgraded 3 versions before the latest Nvidia driver. The only thing now would be the new OBS version. Other than that I am at a loss and can't explain why this is happening.

As StreamElements Chat Module is only announcing in your chat if you have that active.

The problem is the last log file doesn't seem to be the one that is at question. It's a log file from a bit before that, as I seem to have more than 1 for that date when it was the worst.
But I will try either way to do that, maybe you can find something that I am unable to find.

Also yes I eliminated the multiple game captures. Even though they were deactivated and would auto load the game when I start it. I turned it down to just 1 now
It could be that the last log file is not correct, the one in question is from the 14th of August, but there are couple of logs after that date

Fresh log would best if it's still occurring or get the log when it happens.

So I have to test it tonight, as I have a new stream tonight. Hopefully eliminating the multiple game captures and downgrading the Nvidia driver makes a difference.
Or is there a way to test it without actually going live?

You can try the Twitch Inspector if you've done that before. As it will be testing as if you were live.

So first thing is Wifi streaming, I usually don't have problems with that at all. Also not sitting ideal upstairs while the modem is downstairs. But according to that log there is still multiple captures and this time actually mentions the overload O.o

I deleted all game captures now. Except those in different scenes, such as just chatting, where I have another instance running whenever I change to that scene. So I cannot have multiple scenes with the same game capture? Even if I shut it off when scene is not active?

@dry sphinx Yeah I guess Overwatch is just too demanding, I tried 720p, x264 instead of NVENC, dropped the bit rate, but when I wasnt Encoder Overloading I was low framerate. Should "Enforce streaming encoding service settings" be checked off or no?

There is no StreamElements OBS. OBS.Live is a plugin for OBS Studio, and it doesn't do anything different with the media source.
That's an OBS Studio function, and they'll be able to assist you with it better.
