Create an overlay https://streamelements.com/dashboard/overlays, and in the blue bar at the top there is a section for widgets. Add teh widgets you need. Then add the overlay url as browser source to OBS.

Once again, problems with the overlay editor. Now, I can't change hype cup scale or opacity? Sliders are all the way to the left, I can't move them and the cup is huge on the screen.

theres nothing in your log that says encoder overload, it may be best to get a clean log:

Restart OBS

Stop your stream/recording.

Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live ( 19.3.24.375)
exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
start OBS.Live
Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

the soundbyte is already added to the loyalty system with a code. as in the sounbyte is already recorded and added as the sound to be used when the appropriate command is inputted. if i type in !redeem (command) through obs live it plays the sound.

yes, but you need to have an overlay and widget to play the sound. the only way to get double sound is having more than 1 widget in an active overlay or not shutting down other overlays that have the widget when not in use, or having something like the editor open while redeeming. please make sure every overlay source is shutdown

Create an overlay just containing the widget on the website. Copy the url and add it to OBS to one scene.
When you add it to a new scene now, select the + to add a browser source, then select in the add existing source section, the overlay which is already created. and add it this way to every scene.

Hey guys, for some reason, OBSLive chat and other parts of the extension are being frozen once I begin the stream.

By this I mean there is no new messages or events being displayed on the screen*

There is also no alerts being played and StreamElements overlay is lagging heavily.

But the actual gameplay, webcam and the stream itself is perfectly fine.

I just purchased an Elgato Stream Deck and I have been trying to get it to work with StreamElements

I am having an issue with getting the stream deck recognize the program

Specifically when it comes to tethering a key to switching scenes

All other controls are OK

Regular OBS doesn't have this issue

I have made sure both the Deck, and Elements are both updated. Closed and opened the programs in proper order, and it still won't take

Set the OBS canvas resolution and the browser source resolution and the overlay resolution in the browser to that value. You can cahnge the overlay resolution when selecting the small pencil next to the name of the overlay.

Yes it is when I switch back to the game. My settings are all on low except for the view distance and the 3D res. I play windowed fullscreen.

I'm currently getting a lot more frame drops over the last couple of streams. Not sure if it's an OBS or game thing. Main game i'm playing is Fortnite, and right now i'm getting between 1-2% frame drops across my stream. Your options are removing some assets, switching to static, or lowering your stream or game quality to free up resources. Even high end computers struggle if they have to run a game, encode a stream, and play animated overlays.

turn off your pc and router for 5 minutes - just unplug the router from its power source foe 5 minutes
go to youtube, open 1 video, set its quality to the lowest, close the video, open MR and see how its going.
This issue is not obs related, more internet speed related

What do you mean you haven't stream with OBSLive yet? If you are using another program like XSplit, unfortunately, I'm not familiar with it, to help.

But if you've been streaming with OBS Studio without our plugin, then the same principle for the log file applies.

Alright so i have setup my overlays for twitch but i'm having a bit of a problem.... So all my overlays are working effectively but my (In game) overlay isn't caching any of my screen. I've tried adding game capture to the sources of where the current scene was but that seemed to just stay black even though i was in game. I also tried display capture but that seems to override the overlay and not show at all. i'm currently at a loss if anyone can help it would be much appreciated (Please Ping me in the case of a response)

Hi, I'm trying to use tts with an nerdordie overlay, but it is only working properly when I get an TopTip alert, every alert else TTS just waits until the whole animation is done, and the starts to read it out loud. Is this by any chance a common bug or something?

Hey, I´m having an issue. I have installed OBS live and I want to add media request. I have them enabled in Dashboard, I have them added in my overlay, but in my OBS.live app on pc, only two things popped out - information about a stream and chat, but I dont see and widget to control media requests

Hey! I am having trouble with the media request for obs.live. Whenever I hit the "Show on stream" button, the audio from the media is horrible. It sounds like its playing the media twice at the same time, but whenever its not showing on stream, it comes through fine.

@valid gulch Make sure to ☑ “Shutdown source when not visible” for all browser sources (all OBS scenes). Click the StreamElements menu at the top. If there are no options there for the windows, then log out and log back in through that menu.

Can you please click on "Streamelements" on top and click on "report issue" and give as much details as to what exactly you have done. As in, Installed OBS Studio then our plugin or just installed our plugin and mention the greenscreen and my name.

The change to i420 is just a workaround. When we have got a solution, you will want to change it back to NV12.

So when I change scene my browser source (overlays and stuff) loads really slowly. Sometimes it takes a few seconds and sometimes up to 5 seconds. Is there a solution to this?

Do you mean was dock in OBS.Live: in OBS select StreamElemetns on top > Media Request
if you are referring to the MediaRequest on stream, create an overlay with a MediaRequest widget and press Show on stream in the MediaRequest Dock.

Add the media Request widget to your overlay and select show on stream in the MediaRequest dock in OBS.Live. Then the video wil be displayed in the preview.

If the overlay with the MediaRequest is not in OBS, add it back in the sources list of OBS.

If you are referring to alerts on screen, then you need to add the overlay with the alert box to your OBS and you are good to go. They will pop up when the bot is invited to your channel.
