If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have SE.Live installed, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of SE.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start SE.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

Due to changes by Youtube there can be a delay up to 4 hours with subscriber notifications. This is the new intended way for receiving events from Youtube by their design.

Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page, and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

Could you go to Streamelements.com and try the following steps:

1. Open developer tools:
   view > developer > developer tools (or Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows), Cmd + Opt + I (Mac))
2. Navigate to the Application tab
3. Expand the Local Storage item in the left pane
4. Find yoink.streamelements.com
5. In the table to the right there'll be a list of keys - one of them will be StreamElements.readActivities - remove it
6. Refresh

Then go into OBS

Navigate to StreamElements menu, on top of OBS > Logout > Login

After you have logged back in navigate to File > Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Reconnect

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Streamelements plugin for OBS crashes everytime it launches if it's installed. Before this happened I did manage to see two copies of Streamelements dropdown menu in the toolbar at the top.

when there is an alert with my own customised alert sound, it will make the song request paused and not playing anymore. I have tried an alert with default.ogg sound, it has no problem at all and the song request keeps playing with a lower volume without any problem. Hi! I have an issue with my overlays in OBS while streaming. The overlays suddenly disappear in my stream after a while and only appear again when I restart OBS and close the stream. But they disappear every time during my stream. I reinstalled SE Live and did updates. I reinstalled OBS. I checked the source arrangement in OBS. I tried reloading the overlays and checked the overlays directly at StreamElements. I don't know what to do more. However, alerts still work at all times. Only the overlays are not displayed. 22.8.23.64 Iv've already uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, and updated to OBS 28.0. The links work for Facebook, YouTube, and Trovo; but not for Twitch or "Continue Without Logging In". And I can't get off that log on page so the log in/logout trick doesnt work

I've sent a report in but still haven't seen a solution anywhere

I can't get my Stream Deck to recognize that SE is OBS. I have to open/close SE and OBS for a substantial amount of times before it works.

I'm still on 22.3.5.215 for SE and for OBS it's 27.2.2 (I have redownloaded SE a number of times without it updating to the current version of OBS). I have OBS (27.2.4) installed too.

So if someone can please respond back to me with some help that would be greatly appreciated.

Is there another way to log into SE Live in OBS? It doesn't allow me to log in properly because when i click on the password section, it's just greyed out, and it never highlights the Log In button at the bottom for me to log in properly even if i try to type my password in.

Oh, do I have to update to OBS 28 to get it to work? Did they fix the bugs from the last update? That's the only reason I'm concerned with updating...I got the duplicate bug and it broke my stream for that day. Don't really want to have to go through all that again with my plug ins and everything again 😦

Hey all, im working on my overlays and it occurred to me that the widgets inthere (so NOT custom widgets but the standard ones) have variables that are mentioned. So far ive always used those, {name} etc, but i was wondering, is there a list somewhere of all the possible variables?

There is a typo in those directions right now, the correct path for the plugins to delete is C:\Program Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit

it's built in now, you'll need to toggle it on in tools > obs-websocket settings. password might be different too, and whatever app you're using needs to be looking for websocket 5.0 now (unless it's automatically backwards compatible but idk, only thing I use websockets for already supports 5.0+)

It is built in, if you installed websockets 4.x you will probably need to uninstall it and then run the OBS 28 installer again

You can't really install it without the installer.

OBS 28 is very new, and lots of plugins may not be updated yet.

Even if they started at the same time, if they don't have the same number of words with the same number of characters they'll most probably end up out of sync eventually

Good point! I do notice that once the items are done theres a time it stops scrolling, i was also wondering if theres a way to make it not wait but just continue scrolling, like one endless loop

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Click on Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

22.8.23.64 is the most recent version of the SE.Live OBS plugin. I don't think they had a chance to update the included OBS installer as OBS v28 was just released on Aug 31st.

I'm pretty new to streaming and stuff, and I made my first overlay with streamelements. I added the media request widget to the overlay, which works well when previewing and editing the overlay. When I added the overlay to OBS, it seemed fine and everything worked, but when doing a test stream with media request I could only hear the media and not see the media request player. I something wrong with the overlay? Or do I need add the media request as a source for the overlay scene?

Do you have the browser source layer on top? If you have any other layers on top of it, it can block the visibility of the layer. Also, In the browser source properties in OBS, Do you have "shutdown source when not visible" and "refresh browser when scene becomes active" checked?

@heavy maple From #helpdesk-twitch I solved the problem with SE.Live and OBS28 myself, since in the crashlog was something mentioned with qt5 and SE.Live and OBS28 are using qt6, I just deleted file containing "obs-streamelements-core_qt5" now it works

Is anyone else having an issue with the Toggle Pause Alerts stream deck button being flipped from SE.Live?
If SE.Live is unpaused, stream deck says it's paused and vice-versa. It functions, just opposite of what the stream deck says.

It also appears that the pause and unpause actions on stream deck are flipped. Pause resumes and unpause pauses.

I'm having some issues with the Docks and UI going haywire when it automatically logs into SE.Live on OBS boot.

The standard OBS UI will load and then the SE docks and such will load in what I guess is the "default" place, even if you've already hidden them or moved them before. They'll push the existing UI out of the way, crunching things to weird places, even causing the bottom footer to get pushed off the screen. And then after that, they'll hide themselves and/or move to where you had them before.

Every time I boot up OBS, I end up having to refix the UI because of it. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it's highly annoying.

The first image is how the set up looks when I fix the UI and close the program. The second is how it looks when I boot up and it's pushing things out of the way. And the third one is how things end up when it's done loading. I don't know if it's OBS itself screwing up or something that can be fixed on your end. But I figured that I'd report it.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.

2. Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3. Stop your stream/recording.
4. Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.

Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+.

If it's NVIDIA, yeah Gefore experience is the way to go.

Install your Graphics card, then uninstall SE.Live, leave obs 28 alone, and see if you notice this issue with the flashing still. if you do, go ask in their discord.

if you don't see the flashing when booting OBS 28, install SE.Live and see if it happens again, let us know.

Hello! I am having some issues since a recent SE.Live update. Previously, I was able to open SE.Live and it would open on the monitor I had it last set to open on. Now, whenever I start SE.Live, it opens on my main screen and I have to move it back to the screen I want it to be on. On top of that, all my docks will be wonky and I'll have to readjust them manually. Is there a way to make it open on my second monitor by default?

I am struggling with the new obs update, my streamdeck plugin for the streamelements/obs app wont fetch the updated plugin. Can anyone help me with where to look, so everything looks correct in the obs files, but its for some reason not correct, and i cant for the life of me find where the streamelements installation files are located

So basically my stream deck wont change visibility status of sources in OBS, and its just cycling the search function within the stream deck app.

i have just updated my obs, added nvidia camera background removal filter.
now my Starting,brb,ending is all lagging on the mp4 file loop. i have each one in streamelements in its own browser with alerts on top to save memory on my pc which has worked fine for 12 months.
but now its lagging and often just freezes and my cpu load in obs is 0.4%

i tried a pc restart, no success. i downloaded the 28.0.1 manually and installed and now its working fine

Hey guys! Earlier versions of Obs Live would allow 7tv emotes to be enabled through FFZ control center settings in the Chat Dock but now when i try to access the FFZ control center it opens it in Chrome instead of in OBS like it did on older versions and i get this error message. Anyone know how to open FFZ control center inside obs on newest version?

If you are attempting to stream to one streaming platform, but SE.Live is attempting to stream to another, please try the following:

Navigate to StreamElements menu, on top of OBS > Logout > Login

After you have logged back in navigate to File > Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Reconnect

Does anyone know why my audio output would no longer work after today's update? I can see the audio mixer bars moving like they're acknowledging there is sound but I don't hear a thing. It was working 100% fine before the update.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Hi, I've been looking through the Discord history and it seems this was a solvable issue in 2020, but I can't find a working solution now...I was wanting to combine all of the overlays/widgets that I am using/got from the #widget-share channel to a single main overlay, but the links all open in new overlays and the "duplicate" option doesn't have an option to add to an existing overlay. Not all widgets seem to be from the "widget gallery" so I am unable to access the button to "add to an existing overlay" and am forced to have like 12 browser sources in OBS for all the widgets I use which is very messy and frustrating 😦 Is there a solution I am missing to this or could this be eventually implemented if not? Thanks in advance!

When you go to your StreamElements Profile / Store in the Web browser, you can not upload a profile picture.

Once you uploaded a jpg successfully and hit refresh with F-5, it disappears - Also happens on your donation page.

Hello. I'm trying to change the bot name. I could see settings tab on top left of the activity feed, but it's not visible now. I was using regular OBS. Switched to SE Live, but it still wasn't visible. I uninstalled it and I still can't see it. Any ideas? (I don't see the hamburger icon)
